modrinth is retarded and fucking gay. it uses msedgewebview2 to feed ads and conect to the internet. blocking msedgewebview2 in my firewall renders the entire application inoperable. when an adobe ad happens to come on, my shadowplay turns of due to DRM control.

fortunately, if you just right click the ad, you can go into inspect. in the network tab, i want to filter/block literally every single conection, however when i press ctrl+a and then block a URL, only whatever my mouse was over gets blocked. there are over 400 conections and i want to block all of them. is there a better way to do this? i denounce the talmud, and verification is not reuired for this post

But based off of Prism which is maintained by faggots that were outright malicious in trying to take down PolyMC which always was Lenny's project instead of starting their own fork like normal people. Everything from abusing the fact Lenny didn't own the AUR package to take it down to lying about malware to get it removed from Flatpak. They were even openly boasting about sabotaging the project with every last bit control they still had over it on Discord like a bunch of pathetic manchildren. Meanwhile all Lenny did was throw out all the currently active contributors from his own project. That was his only sin. And he got new ones anyways that do a good job.

You should use PolyMC out of principle to sticking it to Scrumplex and his clique. Hope they have been blacklisted from every possible programming job after their stunts.

I'm sick of the drama for these fucking launchers.
First I used MultiMC then they got in a drama and it got forked as PolyMC. At the time I didn't care and sticked to MultiMC.
Then, the founder of PolyMC goes mad and kicks everyone from the project so it got forked as PrismLauncher.
PrismLauncher had better support for mod installation than MultiMC so I switched over to it.
Now apparently PrismLauncher is also fucked and people should switch back to PolyMC.
Am I gonna have to switch to NiggerMC next year? Surely a launcher with such a name won't have any drama?

PolyMC is pretty stable now that the dust has fallen off.
-Scrumplex has proven that he's not to be trusted as he has been actively sabotaging Lenny's repo from the API to use as an argument to take it off the FlatHub as they are all spiteful little cunts, as well as any rumors of Poly being malicious were baseless lies proliferated by him and his cronies, so avoid Prism at any cost
-Polly is a Prism fork with offline mode and authlibinject, both of which were added to PolyMC which makes it redundant, and since it's Prism based it should be avoided on principle
-Lenny and his chud crew are running a tight ship and PolyMC is the best choice out of all the MultiMC forks. Has integrated mod/modpack management, has offline and authlib, and even added NeoForge support if you're into the xkcd 927 rat chase that's going on in the modding community right now
-MultiMC is still good as long as you hate useful and modern functionality as much as it's maintainer does
