Some of those "download youtube" type websites still use their own age verified accounts for the service, and depending on the script, it may be possible to watch them videos directly from your browser.

This got me thinking actually. There are a bunch of old YouTube alt ends, usually called something like "YouTube NSFW" or the other way around, that allowed you to watch NSFW videos without the script. When YouTube cracked down on those workarounds, the sites stopped working. But maybe some of them are back using their own accounts. I should look into it.
