Why are there only 10,000 videos on youtube?
When will we get the non-dead internet back?

Google started closing old accounts that haven't made any logins or account updates in the last few years, or accepted their "new" ToS.
The internet darkage is begining.

Unlike 10 years ago, youtube now mostly shows stuff I've already watched.

That's just YouTube messing with the algorithms again. They had a good one going for a while about two-three years ago, it nearly ruined my life cause I was just watching YouTube all day. I still have it on in the background all the time, but it's not nearly as good now, it's just a ton of slop and decade old memes.

Google is also shit now. Before it felt like you could find an entire world of user content related to even the most obscure topic by just searching for it; now you barely get like 30 results.

I'm especially sad how much variety google images had before. I used to love looking at google images as a kid.
