What has happened with the Mv3 implementation? Did Google castrate uBlock Origin on Chromium for good? What are the alternatives without using built-in blockers?

I don't get your question. Google limits what extensions can do with MV3 that makes UBO unusable a MV3 version is made that does work but is limited in blocking capabilities.

He means that there are no other alternatives. Brave or Firefox + ublock origin. That's it everything besides built-in adblockers or firefox based browsers are going to be forced to use worse Manifest V3 extentions.
