Why does /g/ hate poorfags?
Anonymous No.106298985
everyone i know who uses this is absolutely terrible with money.

No, the tiny, top socioeconomic stratum of /g/ that isn't living in mom's basement and/or section 8 housing hates poorfags - mainly because they're the ones who have to fund said poorfags' existence, for an actual negative ROI - as everyone well knows, poorfags are the generator of most crime.
However, nothing hurts a poor more than reminding him he's a poor, so /g/ goes in to a spastic, days-long tantrum whenever they're mocked for being poor.
While the former does cause the latter, it's like saying the energy from a stick of dynamite exploding is contained in the match that lit the fuse - no, /g/ poors only exist to wait for something to get all offended about, just like the feminists that shat them out nine months after a one-night stand.

That's weird, I feel like all my taxes go to richfags. If they went to poorfags I'd be happier.

I don't understand what the point of neobanks is. Can't you just find a regular bank with a good mobile app?

Like most of your fee-fees, they're wrong. Whether this is a coping mechanism for your envy of people who work smarter/harder than you, or propaganda your schoolteacher with an IQ of 81 fed you, or something else entirely, I don't know.
For the record, richfags pay almost all taxes - for example, in the US, the top 1% of earners pay over 30% of all taxes. A bailout of, say, Ford costs about the same as feeding and housing the nation's poorfags for 6-7 weeks.

You sound brainwashed by richfags. The top 1% of earners don't count. If you pay taxes you are not rich.

just join a local credit union, and open a schwab/fidelity/ally/alliant/C1 or one of the other online banks/CUs with good rates. Easy to get fee free accounts where you can do in person stuff and get all the benefits of the digital financial institutions too. Chime is for people with minimal financial literacy

The rich pay all the taxes because the poor don't have anything.

maybe, idk. it is branding and social pressure. i had to listen to a Great Aunt tell me about Mondo or Monzo or something like that, how her and her friends and all the grandkids (adults) had a monzo account on their phone and would monzo each other money. they'd say "i'll monzo you for my share of lunch" and things like that. each of them had convinced others to sign up for monzo or whatever it is and buy into the brand. because it is easier than doing a bank transfer on your banking app. my great aunt is 87 or thereabouts.

Chime is not a neobank I think, they're a fintech company that works with two real banks. Revolut on the other hand actually is a neobank, licensed in Europe.

I thought "a tech company that works with a real bank" is what a neobank is by definition?

No thank you. Also this is worse than Wealthfront in every way possible for a company that is effectively just spreading your money out over multiple banks (which you can do manually if you have half a brain cell, not that it matters since no retard should have over $250k in a single account to begin with unless you're saving up for a house)
Regardless services like these are dogshit unless they provide a benefit (like wealthfront does by offering hysa rates) Getting your money in and out of them is always a pain in the ass due to the nature of it being hidden away as to how they manage it.

neobanks have better savings rates where I live (not america)

Same in the USA, my neobank was 5% (they moved it to 4% recently along with everyone else), but my regular bank is still offering like 0.8%. Last year it paid out $2,000 in just interest. Their apps / websites are also usually better and mine has custom api support. The catch is if something fucks up you can't talk to someone in person ever but I was able to buy a house using a fucking app on my phone and it went through smoothly so its been fine.

Around 5 years ago I got Chime to get paid by an employer, they wanted me to use their HR app with their own routing which seemed weird to me at the time so I just filled out an app for Chime and then sent it to HR. A few days after my first pay day, I wanted to celebrate and went out for a pricy (for me at the time) meal of booze and sushi. When I handed them my Chime card, they came back and said it was declined. I was like WTF dude I just got paid there's no fucking way at all, there's 4 zeroes in my account right now. After getting declined and then having my date pay for the meal, I look at Chime and see this notification: (not verbatim)
Chime doesn't guarantee access to your funds, during high transaction times we balance the amount of funds available for our users. Try again later, or use the "spot me" feature to get instant access to up to $50 in funds."
I got Wells Fargo by next pay day.

Didn't take too long for him to fall into his programming, did it?
To be fair, I knew he was full of shit from his "brainwashed" comment. Every accusation is a confession with NPCs.
