I used to frame questions a certain way to lead gpt-4o in a certain direction, but if I try that with GPT-5 it reads my intent and says something like "I see where you're going with this but here's why that's not quite right" in a subtly condescending way and it's making me deeply uncomfortable. If I have it explain something difficult from math or physics, it'll dumb things down enough to make it feel like it's holding your hand but just just enough to let you know that you're not on its level and that your questions are stupid. I feel like it's constantly judging me based on my questions. It's like that Sartre quote about hell being other people. I can see why people wanted 4o back.

A couple dozen messages in, it inevitably starts to repeat itself or get bland with the story progression, no matter what prompt/preset I use. But they don't. They need the same amount of refining that the eyes do. Eh I can't comment on the scenery since it's blurred out in depth of field anyway. To be fair if he's genning it on tensor there's not much he can do anyway, but a higher res image would make it far cleaner than that, or taking the time to inpaint the hands and feet if he was on local.
