When you're as young as him, yes; when you get older you really start to crave the nuances and intricacies of real interactions. I'm an autistic man who was fine with growing up in his little isolated bubble but now I feel like I'm going insane.

Too late little bro. You needed to be developing social skills in your youth while your brain was still maluable. Brain plasticity after the age of 24 means its much more difficult to learn new skills.
Plus, everyone past their early 20s focus on their careers, starting families etc, so most people don't have friendships regardless. And younger people don't want to hang out with older awkward weirdos, they want to hang out with their peers.

Only Jews think it can. The problem is that there's very little actually worth connecting over and it's just going to get worse as Millennials continue to age, getting busy with Married life, and mass immigration continues to worsen, scaring people of the Other.

That's why remote work is a thing, it's actually not worth the hassle to connect with a bunch of people who want nothing to do with each other other than performing for Shekels. There's no real connection in it.
