After 3 years of searching for a job (5 years experience dev) with no luck, I am continuing on month 2 of vibe coding a new app for a source of income.
After around 24 hours of actually working with the project, I have found it’s hit a level of complexity LLMs cannot figure out at this point in time. Each “premium request” adds to my ever growing generation bill.
I will still continue trying to work something out as (at least by the sounds of it on social media) I should be making at least $10k a month by now and have 500 customers. Alas, I am currently in the red and have 0 users. I would pay Google the minimum recommended ads fee of $200 a day, but that’s my rent money.
P.S. Absolutely do not tell anyone about this and appear I’ve got everything in my life under control.
