Anyone who bought a 5080 fully deserves it. It's the definitive cuck GPU for this generation. Too poor for a 5090, too impatient for a more reasonable amount of VRAM, too retarded to buy a 5070 Ti or 9070 XT instead.

5080S is likely to be +400W TDP
Completely different class than something like 1080Ti that was 250W.
If you buy a 250W card like RTX 5070 it still has much better performance than a 1080ti and is in the same price range. Just don't be a retard and fall for Nvidia model naming.
