go take a look at the back of your microwave, it should tell you the frequency.
2.4GHz is exactly the microwave frequency that is needed to cook water, your headphones and your wifi are very slowly warming you up with microwaves.
i don't think that this is any more dangerous than standing around in the sun, although the sun can give you skin cancer and heats you up with UV rays too, so you should be careful with both.
