I haven't been in the loop with phones for a while (which is why I defer to this general, I assume you guys keep track of the latest trends), but could you tell me what the actual real world upgrades are?
I know that the fingerprint sensor is MUCH better, which is currently my main reason to upgrade. The pixel 6 fingerprint sensor notoriously sucked ass and it still does.

But other than that, what's the huge upgrade? The battery is smaller, the screen is a bit smaller (actually good for me, makes it easier to type), resolution is a bit smaller, refresh rate is the same.
Camera megapixels are kind of the same (except selfie camera that I rarely use). Camera lenses, I don't know.
Phone RAM goes from 12GB to 16GB, which seems like a nice upgrade, but has this even been a bottleneck before?
