eevee looks like shit and i'm tired of people pretending like it doesn't
it's fine as a playbast renderer but using it for final frames is some pajeet-tier shittery
also cycles' subsurface scattering is fucking awful
and energy conservation on transmissive materials is basically broken

the way third party renderers work right now is completely insane
they need to add proper hydra delegation, but that's an actually open standard and blender devs aren't interested in doing things that aren't their own brand of special snowflake dogshit
