>windows 11 work laptop slows to a fucking crawl for no apparent reason
>reboot it several times, look at processes in task manager, etc.
>AC power and 100% battery charge yet cpu capped at 0.5 ghz (not thermally throttled)
>check old control panel power plan
>locked to "balanced" due to lack of admin rights on corpo cuck laptop
>give up, fuck around for a few hours and avoid doing work
>somehow find the nu control panel "power mode" option, notice it's not locked down
>switch from "balanced" to "best performance"
>immediately brings laptop back to life

how many man hours have been lost to this mentally retarded piece of shit operating system having two control panels with options that toggle and un-toggle themselves for no apparent reason?

how is the pajeetification of the OS that runs basically every personal use "business machine" in this country not a national security issue?

i doubt it because the IT wagies are wageslaved to the maxx and won't touch a computer unless you open an IT ticket and escalate it multiple times over a 10 business day period because they're too busy to look at new tickets without being yelled at.

Nice in principle but as a work laptop WORK needs to be done on it

Contradictory.

Because the people who decide what a national security issue is are themselves a national security issue.

windows 11 just randomly resets control panels performance plans in windows updates, while locking most of the actual power plan settings behind regedits (this is controlled by the laptop manufacturer and will reset any changes you make on a windows update).

sounds like a configuration (you) problem.
