you should switch to windows 10 ltsc (or 11 ltsc, that's a thing now). it sounds scary but it's basically just windows 7 in a modern form, you can install the microsoft store if necessary too.
for an antivirus the best one is probably just windows defender mixed with common sense. be defensive about the shit you put on your pc.
can't say anything about vpns though.

do i need a registered enterprise to get 10 ltsc? and why is it like windows 7 if its called 10, because its from right at the 10 transition?
i was concerned that defender seems to easy and popular to be a good one. but i guess id just do it since i already have windows. it was either that or mcaffee or norton

use kms_vl_all to activate it, it's on github. i compared it to windows 7 since it doesn't have any shitware installed on it by default, it's really bare bones but pretty nice, also lighter on resources

Don't use that. Use the activation instructions in the >>>/g/fwt OP. They also have links to the IoT LTSC ISOs.

ty anon. so basically i do that activate cmd and this should give me the downloaded vanilla 10 LTSC, which i can then move to a usb drive in order to activate it from BIOS on a new pc?

why would you want to do business

vpn thats going to cost you you loose money like that

antivirus scans every word and letter do you want to antivirus people know your business

if you block outgoing traffic what are you going to do phonecall and have agents to maintain your system

Don't listen to these stupid fucking /g/tards
>>106327145
What in the fuck does this have to do with increasing opsec?
>vpn
NO, not unless you're downloading tollents from public trackers and only make your torrent client use it

I know this pic so fucking passe now, but nothing else fits the sheer stupidity of this thread.

Also if you really cared you wouldn't be using w11 at all, but if you're too stupid to know the answers to these other questions you're better off sticking to mickeysoft.

Let me add that use Samsung drives or other ones third party tested/audited if you're going to use SED.

>antivirus
Just remember every antivirus these days basically scans every file you have on your system and sends a checksum plus possibly section of the file to the "cloud" for analysis. Since you're already using Microsoft's shit just stick to Windows Defender, then at least your stuff is only being uploaded to one corpo's cloud and not multiple ones.

If your opsec doesn't suck ass you don't need AV anyway.
