Open Source software are finally evicting baby ducks from their projects

>Libre Office 25.8 drops Windows 7, 8 support and 32-bit support.
>Firefox drops support on September 16.

There is no excuse to use Windows 7 in 2025 except for extreme duckcessive canardive disorder. You have multiple Linux distros with Proton and Wine, plus Windows 11 with OTVDM and DOSBOX for your legacy Windows apps.

I hope Archive.org deletes Windows 7 isos and that physical Windows 7 DVDs bitrot. Statcounter reveals that most "Windows 7" market share is bots with outdated user agents instead of real users. There are more Arch Linux users than Windows 7 users on Steam now and you can't install Steam on Windows 7 unless you download a hacked client which will risk you getting VAC'd.

Celebrate by having a roast duck from your local takeaway.

You do realize that most government systems still run on XP or older, right? Even major multinational corporations run some software on DOS still.

On isolated computers only.
Even airgapped networks has been migrated to Win10 years ago.

That doesn't matter, since OP's post was about there being no excuse to use Windows 7 still. He's wrong.
