The only reason GrapheneOS is blindly trusted is because it's a Western project. But what if the GrapheneOS project originated in China, Russia, or Iran? It would have exactly the same characteristics as the Western GrapheneOS:

- Decentralized: No single company controls the network
- Open Source: Source code publicly accessible – transparency and audibility
- Community-driven: Development by independent developers and users

The only difference being that instead of supporting Google Pixel devices, it would exclusively support specific Huawei models. Would you still trust GrapheneOS then?

Imagine if boot time firmware integrity keys are generated by chinese vendors instead of western ones. the only way to run highest priviliged code on your phone is now to get it signed by a company from China. They control ultimately what runs on your device, whether it be a genuine OS or a persistant malware

To get the most accurate benchmark you should have done a 100% to 0% discharge while watching a video 20 hour long video on the first days you got the phone, measuring how many hours of screen on time it got.
Then repeat the same test when you want to compare it to your first benchmark.
