Chair Technology
Is anything more than pic related a scam?

For me, its the random wooden dining room chair I found on the street and took home.
Plastic chairs would work too but be aware they contain chemicals which disrupt your hormones. If you don't care then they're fine.

How to avoid this creepy plastic hormone disrupting
Just try to avoid all plastics as much as possible?
Anonymous No.106342049 >>106342079

>Just try to avoid all plastics as much as possible
Yes
Admitadely the dose you get from things you touch (like a chair) is minuscule next to the plastics in your food, water and air. Things like textiles are much worse than chairs as well.
If you're serious about making a change the biggest impact you can do would be to try and choose foods that are not stored or prepared with plastic. This is actually a lot more difficult than it might seem. The next biggest impact change would be to filter your water and air. If you're in a city it's next to impossible to do anything about the air because every time you go outside you're inhaling tire particulate but you can at least filter the air in your home.
Choosing natural fibers is a good choice too because as textiles wear down they release little fibers which you inhale. If, for example, you have something like a 'wooly' polyester blanket your bedroom is probably full of little plastic particles you inhale while you sleep.
Also the jury is still out on how bad plastic is for the human body but I think there is enough evidence at this point (just look at things like the hormone problems in modern humans or even our birth rate, things like mental illness, obesity and other health issues have all skyrocketed in the last 50-100 years etc) to do everything in our power to try and eliminate them as much as we possibly can.

Based, I'll try to start paying attention to my plastic usage anon. Even though I try to cook my own stuff I think you're right that food will be the most difficult. Even the highest quality shit I can get usually has some plastic packaging.

Good luck. I'd say don't stress about it too much because stress can also fuck with your hormones. Just make a little change every week or so and try to pick stuff that's not packaged in plastic when you can.
Good luck (also I think if we spread the word we can maybe wake enough of the population up that the corporate overlords stop packaging literally everything in plastic the way they do now

Most people don't sit for hours at a time either
When you're on the floor you must either cross your legs indian style or lay them out in front of you. Both are worse long term than sitting upright in a chair.
Now obviously you shouldn't be sitting for more than like idk 15 mins at a time and probably not more than once or twice an hour but that's not how most modern /g/tards sit so in that case upright in a char with your legs on the floor is the best situation (you should still get up and move around once or twice an hour tho and sitting like this is impacting your health fyi but I understand we're all gonna keep doing it so whatever)

If you're referring to the jewish texts the perfect image of God lived naked in the woods and sat on the ground.
We are the imperfect, flawed, and fallen descendants of he that was made in the image of God.
If you're saying it's best for us to strive to be more like that perfect image of God, then why shouldn't we be naked in the woods and sitting on the ground?
Anonymous No.106342404 >>106342544

No mention of "the woods" or how they actually sat, but God Himself did not want them to remain naked after Adam's sin:

β€œUnto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21)

They lived as animals, without knowledge of good or evil. It was a better world and that was the intended world (or I don't actually know this shit that well if God is all powerful didn't he have to sanction the fall of man too?)
Man started wearing clothing because we had to leave paradise and enter the shitty real world where you freeze to death in winter and shit.
Also none of that is even real it's all mythology and parables for the fact we can't live like animals do because of evolution or whatever the fuck happened to us to make us whatever it is we are. As a result we have to do stupid shit like wear clothes and sit in chairs.
Regardless none of this has to do with trying to be less animalistic because God told us to. Either he is all poweful and we have no free will and do whatever he wants us to do, or we do have free will and already chose to disobey his only command to not learn about good and evil and now as a result we persist as these fallen imperfect beings. Sure we can try to be more perfect, but according to the jewish texts the only perfect person was a naked man in the woods (or whatever you imagine paradise to be, I'm pretty sure it's the woods) sitting on the floor.
I suppose the christians say "Jesus was perfect" but that's exactly why I'm not a christian. No one is perfect, we're not in a perfect world, and God is not a human being but something above this entire universe entirely. The absolute hubris to declare God is not only a man but died on a cross in some backwater Roman province. Just insane levels of cope right there.

>They lived as animals, without knowledge of good or evil.

Being innocent is not the same as behaving like a beast.

>It was a better world.

It was, but sin ruined everything.

>and that was the intended world (or I don't actually know this shit that well if God is all powerful didn't he have to sanction the fall of man too?)

You cannot have free will without the capacity to choose right and wrong. God did not design man like a robot that cannot screw up, and there's consequences to both obeying and disobeying God.

>Man started wearing clothing because we had to leave paradise and enter the shitty real world where you freeze to death in winter and shit.

Not quite. That wasn't the world back then. It didn't even rain before the great flood. The conditions were very hospitable and people lived almost a thousand years.

>Also none of that is even real it's all mythology and parables.

You couldn't prove that if your life depended on it.

>for the fact we can't live like animals do because of evolution or whatever the fuck happened to us to make us whatever it is we are.

Kek, talk about myths.

>As a result we have to do stupid shit like wear clothes and sit in chairs.

Jungle nigger detected. I see nothing stupid with any of it.

>Regardless none of this has to do with trying to be less animalistic because God told us to.

None of the things God expects us to do can any animal do.

>Either he is all poweful and we have no free will and do whatever he wants us to do, or we do have free will and already chose to disobey his only command to not learn about good and evil

God gave us free will and wants us to choose good (that's why He constantly warns us against choosing evil everywhere in the bible). If we couldn't choose bad, then it wouldn't be free will, and none of this has anything to do with His power but with His plan, which allowed the fall of man. Free will legally filters out the people who hate Him so He can reward those who love Him.

>and now as a result we persist as these fallen imperfect beings. Sure we can try to be more perfect.

That's not what God wants us to do. Leave it to Jesus to wash away your sins and He will make you perfect for the day of judgment when you'll be found innocent. Die rejecting Jesus and you'll have to pay for your crimes.

>but according to the jewish texts the only perfect person was a naked man in the woods (or whatever you imagine paradise to be, I'm pretty sure it's the woods) sitting on the floor.

The only perfect man (technically God incarnate) according to the jewish text is the Lord Jesus Christ (who, unlike Adam, never sinned), that's why His sacrifice on the cross can save.

>I suppose the christians say "Jesus was perfect" but that's exactly why I'm not a christian.

If Jesus isn't perfect, He isn't God as He said and proved He was, and if He isn't God, his blood is useless and this whole thing is a scam. But Jesus is indeed perfect.

>No one is perfect, we're not in a perfect world.

Correct, but Jesus isn't just "some guy", He is God manifest in the flesh, no less, and the world is a shithole because of Lucifer and his obssession with destroying mankind.

>and God is not a human being but something above this entire universe entirely.

God is not a human being, but God incarnated into a human body and today we know Him as Jesus.

β€œAnd the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)

β€œFor what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:” (Romans 8:3)

β€œBut we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” (Hebrews 2:9)

β€œAnd without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” (1 Timothy 3:16)

β€œAnd the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)

>The absolute hubris to declare God is not only a man but died on a cross in some backwater Roman province. Just insane levels of cope right there.

Jesus is the incarnation of the eternal Son of God. He offered Himself on the cross as a sacrifice that atones for our sins, and it was what happened afterwards what actually sealed the deal: The resurrection.

Take it or leave it, but don't badmouth it if you don't understand it.
