Is the wheel the greatest technology of all time?

Potter’s wheel mass-produced bowls = first McDonald’s franchise

Pulleys lift big rocks, now we get pyramids instead of broken backs

Gears clocks, watches, computers, basically /g/’s autism fuel

Bearings smoother motion, no squeaky cart, no squeaky HDD

Turbines “bro I put wheel in water” infinite energy

Babbage’s difference engine literally just a wheel calculator

So yeah, without wheel = no cars, no PCs, no memes. You’d still be dragging stuff on your back like a Linux ricer dragging dependencies.

is fire tech or natural phenomena? If tech it's top 3 for sure

I would call it natural because it can exist with no human involvement but that's an amazing question I'm gonna start asking people

I guess if its within our control, like cooking over fire then its technology. I'd agree fire is certainly a top technology contender.
