yeah well when u read between the lines, that means nviddy is letting cards go for the runners to resell. the corporate strategy is cyberpunk as hell and i love it. as GN showed, all the cards are made in china. everything is tracked, serialized and earmarked. nvidia knows where every card goes and they have reach to confirm it. so the sanctions don't mean shit because the US can't effectively enforce them when the physical products are never even in the US. only thing that comes from the US is what comes out of santa clara. not sure about nvidia's package assembly in the US, but i don't think they fab chips there afaik.

More likely what would happen is the US would make an example of the manufacturer who is the worst about breaking the export laws, and the rest would fall in line to avoid losing the US market.
But even if the end result was that GPUs were no longer able to be manufactured in China, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

The US legal system is based on common law.
Meaning that the outcome of previous similar cases affect the outcome of a new case.
Which is in contrast to some continental European legal systems, where every single case has to be reevaluated based on law.

If you dismiss with prejudice - and admit that you were wrong - this will affect the outcome of the others.

Voluntary dismissal is not the same as admitting you were wrong to bring the case. It's standard in class action suits, once the class is approved, for the individual plaintiffs to drop their individual suits.

This is why with or without prejudice exists.
With prejudice means to admit that you were wrong.
>It's standard in class action suits
All the others who dismissed did it without prejudice

Dismissal with prejudice happens when there was an out-of-court settlement.
If i come to you and say:
>drop this case and i give you a million shekels
I expect from you to dismiss with prejudice, because otherwise you could just fill it again, or let someone else fill it for you.

Basically, there are only two reason why he would do what he did:
>he accepted money to do it

You can, though, that's the problem with court law.
If you fill a lawsuit and you deliberately behave retarded and deliberately lose it, you steal the chance to sue from others.
It just costs you money. Steve still had to pay his lawyers for those months that he wasted everyones time.

It especially happens with class action lawsuits, where even with a win, the company only has to pay like 10 bucks per customer who claims it.... rather than getting fucked in an actual lawsuit where they could get completely wasted.

The benefit of common law is that you don't have contradictory rulings, which is what happens a lot e.g. in German courts.

It is, by the very definition of it.
A dismissal with prejudice is an adjudication on the merits and you can't fill again because that would be double jeopardy.
https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/with_prejudice
>Without prejudice:
Dropping out for reasons that have nothing to do with the actual subject of the case, like "i cant afford it", "someone else already runs it", "i made mistakes when filling it", etc.

GamersNexus signed a legal valid document, where they declare that they are wrong.

There's a lot of money on the GPU black market, so it isn't far fetched to think that the video got by power that be. But on the other hand it wouldn't be far fetched to think that a media, who makes money on controversy, would deliberately do something that would get their video on the subject taken down

Sue who for what? Telling youtube that someone is infringing a trademark is not a crime. If youtube takes videos down for invalid trademark claims, that's their business. There's no obvious case agains them either

It's okay, though. The Iranians moved the enriched uranium days before going by footage. I have no doubt they're shifting their program to smaller and more hidden facilities and will have a nuclear weapon by 2028 the latest.

I'm not worried about it. Fuck pissrael. Lmao

There's probably backdoors in Nvidia gpus, too, just like there's backdoors in any AMD or Intel (lmao) cpu post-2007. So no reason to clamp down. The Chinese are just bringing in some Trojan horses

Subsequently, Honey updated their extension to stop claiming affiliate revenue in cases where they are not able to provide a discount.
