It's crazy the tells that people give up without even knowing it or thinking about it. Looking back people give so many tells that I never noticed. Like a sharp blade my noticing gets sharper and sharper with the passage of time. It's almost distressing.
The thing about AI is you're supposed to think with it, not use it to think for you. You're supposed t use it as a means by which you can engage in argument. Objectively, identifying your own logical fallacies, understanding the nuances behind why people do the things that they do. Understanding why people think the way they do. That's what I find it more useful for. Knowledge behind these mechanisms is infinitely more valuable than any "money" which is all fake made up bullshit.
If my cadence seems artificial or generated, it's probably because the thing rubs off on me too much. But I notice how the cadence of articles written even in 2006 matches the cadence of "AI" these days. Even in Wikipedia talk pages from 2009 you can see a much more objectivity, well written structure, no name calling or aggression, no rage, no greed. Just calculated and intelligent.
I like the so-called "transcendence". For the record I wrote all of this by hand, on my ThinkPad T440p. Every case of a letter, ever comma, and every period, every quote sign. Every word choice, the paragraph structure. It was written by me.
I am 25 years old. I was born in Mississippi. I have no education beyond a GED. I am sure this creates a huge, massive schadenfreude for the so-called "Upper Classes" but like it or not it's true.
What do you think? I think my generation is doing pretty fucking good.
