Welp, it happened to me as well bros. I got the "completely unresponsive" bug where you can't click anything until you restart Firefox. I only had it once in the past when they first introduced the AI sidebar chatbots and I tried them out, but I have disabled every AI feature since and haven't had any issues. Until a few moments ago, where it happened out of nowhere. I was just watching a YouTube video and wanted to click the Extensions button and every browser button stopped working.

I've seen other anons complain about the same thing in previous Firefox threads, hence why I said that it happened to me "as well". But if you want to assume that Firefox is perfect and only Brave shills complain about it, then go ahead. Don't be surprised when the same bug happens to you as well. Version 142 on Windows 10 btw, in case anyone wants to blame it on some distro.

About the only thing I can say is it’s obvious that Firefox has given up the fight against google and is slowly becoming a failed browser but I’m in windows 11 and it works fine

I have had situations where I complained about a bug on /g/ and someone provided a fix. I don't care about browser wars. Plus, like I said, it seems like it's a common bug in recent versions.

Have you tried librewolf? They tend to vet their releases a little bit better

I get the te bug on windows where pages stop loading when my second profile firefox updates or vice-versa so there's an update stuck pending.

On ubuntu I sometimes run into a bug where the menubar becomes unclickable, it can be fixed by moving around a tab.

I don't recall ever having a "completely unresponsive" bug.
