I have a s25 ultra, a iPhone 16 pro max and a pixel 9 pro xl so unlike all the fake wannabe tech enthusiasts in the thread I can honestly tell you what will work for you.
Before I answer you should buy small portable battery packs and than any phone you pick will run for over a day easily. Buy one from ugreen or my personal favorite Anker.
You will want to buy the s25 since the apps you want to use are a pain in the ass to run on a iPhone via side loading unless you’re willing to pay $99 a year for the Apple dev license you will have to plug the iPhone in once a week to refresh revanced for example.
Idk if it will last playing music that long and personally I have battery packs ready just in case.

Yes battery is my main concern, but not to the point of geting huge phones. The options available here aren't that many, a new pixel 9 phone or the equivalent of apple or samsung costing over $3000. The used market is flooded with old stuff at insane prices (cheapest pixel under $1000 is a pixel 6 lol).
I'm getting a good deal on the iphone 13 pro (which at $500 is still pretty high) because the seller is a friend of a friend. The only android phone he's selling that might be a viable alternative is a pixel 8, at around $450. It looks a bit more used than the 13 pro, and i'm not sure how battery life might compare with the iphone. i've been reading around that the pixels 8 had a bunch of issues at launch, including some related to battery, although maybe by now they have been fixed. Also the model he has is the pink color, and i dont want to have a pink phone lol, although i could just buy a cover or smthing.
Third option I was maybe considering is an iphone 15 he's selling. Price goes up to $600, but battery health is over %90, and it might last me more years than either the 13 pro or the pixel 8. I'll be losing on the 120 hz display from the other 2 phones but i don't think it's a big deal considering how i use my phone.

My S10 is getting old. The last time I really paid attention to phones was like, the xperia XZ3 era so I'm lost but from what I hear, Sonys are extremely overpriced and carriers no longer have them. I've always been a 'used flagship' guy (Yes I am broke rn). My carrier has an S23 and an s24FE for 10cad a month.There's also the s23+ and S23 ultra for 15 and 20. The s25 is 30. There's also an iphone 14 pro for 20 in the nice purple but new ios is strange and I like sideloading. I could almost justify the 15 pro to mess around with 3D videos for the quest 3 but it's not worth ios and they don't have one.

Hey anons, been looking for a phone with the best cameras for work reasons for a relative.
The main goal is to record aerobic and fitness category videos at the best possible resolution and sharpness, so the motion may be fast or slow depending on what movement they do.
Big battery life, generic phone features, etc.
The relative is super casual in non-camera tech so any power user features will be lost on them.
Money not an issue, iPhone not preferred for familiarity with file management when connected to a PC for photo and video upload.

I just got my Pixel 9a (and installed GrapheneOS) like 4 days ago.
Screen broke on my old Pixel 6a, and the Aliexpress replacement screen worked for exactly 6 hours before spazzing out.
Luckily I had just backed all my data up a few weeks ago when I installed GrapheneOS on my 6a, so restoring everything was a quick process.

Loved how much more battery life I got out of my old phone with all the Google spyware disabled/removed.

I think this will be the first time I'll install a screen protector and maybe a bumper case to my phone, as the screen breaking is usually the thing that makes me get a new phone.
