I went with brave since firefox doesn't work in some video sites. Which is weird since it used to work fine some versions ago.
But oh well, not my problem if mozilla fucks its browser up.
google funds Mozilla just enough for Firefox to be an inferior product so they can say they don't have a monopoly on the market.
Firefox > Objectively Inferior in every performance metric > Librewolf
Decent Privacy Built on top of inferior product. >Chrome/Chromium/edge
Actively Spy on you. >Brave/PrivacyBrowser
Chrome Skins with better privacy settings, but still probably spy on you.

i don't understand why a browser needs to be expensive at all
aren't browsers a solved problem since over a decade? >Mozilla revenue 593 million >750 employees
that's not enough to patch the security issues that pop up and maybe update the color scheme?

Its the constant changes to the web standard. Having to implement changes to web standards without inadvertently breaking some ancient geocities site is a nightmare and basically google has a cabal where they control how this shit changes and everyone else has to play catch-up.
