Why don't webshitters use Dart? Clearly better than JavaScript, not a retarded transpiler, has a working VM, compiles to JS and to binary, has superior features and syntax. Like if you're going to have your retarded build step and JavaScript is not enough for you and you want to larp as le serious developer who uses types, why not choose Dart?

TS is compatible with JS. Also, how is dart better than TS? I don't think dart even has union types. TS type system is very powerful and you can go from JS to strict TS with one config. This allows TS to be just another build step in the process, instead of a complete stranger separate from web technology.

When you compile to js it is much slower than natively written js, especially if you have a lot of ui elements on one page.

Why don't you use tauri for your apps together with a js framework of your choice (I use svelte)


Also ChatGPT writes HTML and js fluently and HTML also supports svg and it can put interactivity inside it so I can design everything that ai cannot do yet in svg like complex ui elements.

A tauri desktop app is 600kb because it is like electron but it uses the systems browser. You can also export it for mobile

Support for desktop adds isn't supported by the original creators, Microsoft created the desktop libs (Windows and Mac only lmao, so not truly cross-platform).
React Native for the desktop is also not popular enough to get proper help if you need it and it doesn't have as many useful libs. Plus Dart is a better language than JS/TS and it compiles to a native binary on the desktop.
