linear algebra and trigonometry and calculus I are like 98% of all the math needed in CS.

You hardly even need linear algebra. The vast majority of people could get away with a 2 hour seminar on how to multiply and invert matrices.

you don't even need calculus. a good understanding of trig and linear algebra is more than enough

depends on if you're looking for code monkey jobs (low pay, soon made obsolete by AI) or engineering jobs (high pay, secure)

for the latter you certainly need linear algebra
