so, with robotics and AI becoming more and more accessible, why aren't we seeing the development of full sexbots yet?

>muh conversational skills
look at Ani from Grok, got literally millions of people falling in love with her
>muh bipedal movement
look at the Unitree R1, it can walk, run, jump, and is more athletic than most humans. costs under $6k
>muh realistic look and feel
you can get sexdolls which are basically indistinguishable from the real thing already. picrel is high end, I got a cheap one for like 800 bucks and both me and my gf were stunned at how realistic it was

like, what's stopping someone from putting left (picrel) as a skeleton into right (picrel)? what's the technological constraint?

you could say that miniaturizing the motors could be a challenge, but a) smaller motors already exist, they just get exponentially more expensive and b) a sexbot probably won't need as much torque as something like the Unitree R1 since you wouldn't expect your sexbot to do an acrobatics show, all it needs is to walk around a bit at most

thinking of just doing it myself. billion dollar idea?

Nobody wants to work on the legs.

Lets see YOU do it then, OP. The thing is, lots and lots of people actually did try something like this. There was in fact, a very old altchan once upon a time, but what you may be surprised to find out was that so much ended up stagnating because of some massive questions coming up during design. For example, how will your sexbot walk? How will it sustain and support the weight you put on it? Gait and weight are everything for robots like this, and of course, the way the skin sustains itself also matters.
Silicone or TPE? Surely even you would know how that material works or have some idea, knowing that it requires cleaning.
How will it recharge?
What about the battery?
Are you going to waterproof it?
How will you repair her if she fails?
Ripping her skin open to find the problem? There's a psychological element in making a sex robot too.
How will you live with yourself if you assembled what you just made?
Will you forever see her as an object, or will you pride yourself for playing god?
Also consider resistance.
If her joints or limbs stretch or twist too far in a certain direction, what if it rips her skin?
So far everything I have seen has been thrown around as concept and nothing more. Robowaifu discussion and discourse always turns into raw ideas, but sometimes someone does make and document a working prototype (Not anything finished). If you think you can churn a profit, best of luck to you when people are gonna find a way to replicate that tech and open source it, or you'll face the tyranny of regulations. Radfem or christian puritan, they will hate your guts for stopping men from churning theirs. The day that sexbots are truly available will be the day the fate of humanity is sealed.

I'm gonna say it again.
I'm gonna keep saying it.
I don't want a robot that pretends to be a woman.
I want a cute robot who is not ashamed to be a cute robot.
If I wanted to fuck a woman I'd just go fucking do that.
So NO SKIN.

not desired by your masters. you are supposed to birth new cattle, and not only that but raise it yourself, and pay for their needs from your own pocket, so they can be later exploited and discarded off with least cost.
you fucking robots was never in the plan, it is out of the scope of your existence goal.
seen any sex-cow mockup that the bull can go fuck for its own please?

I mean, you will always have your imagination, anon. Treasure that, because that's the only wife you'll ever have, robot or otherwise.

They're not being developed because most people can get real sex for free, and those who can't can either pay a whore far less than several grand or masturbate for free.
It's the same reason a lot of things don't get automated really, the product is not expensive enough to justify R&D.

More like a Trillion dollar idea, if you can manage to corner the market. Do it yourself, Anon.

AI sucks balls and not in the way you want it to. It's barely functional as a chat bot. Imagine what a boner killer it would be if it Google searches everything you say while you thrust into it.

Wait for a million+ humanoid robot first from 1 company. Thats when the thing is starting to mature enough for consumer usage. Then wait for a 100 million humanoid robot from a company, thats when real mods will start to come.

>what's the technological constraint?
You're probably about 12, but I'll humor you. It's weight. That massive hunk of silicone is 20+ kilos, and that skeleton is equipped to maybe lift 2 kilos on a good day.

AI chatbots are uninteresting at best, you might be able to impress some real brainlets by just going "wow you're so cool so god is talking to you through your walls? You must be really special, you should definitely burn your family like he says to do".
