I used OsmAnd~ (free version of full paid version) and it worked there better than Google Maps. Also under the water it also gave real time navigation while Google Maps was spinning around confused why it is under the water.

It works. It tracks busses when I click on a stop and select the bus. Location works as advertised too. I like to carry a faraday bag with me and take my phone out of just to make em think I can teleport.

What are the pros of and cons of using OsmAnd vs google maps? Only alternatives Ive heard and used are waze and apple maps but they were kinda sucked compared to the default so Im curious.
