It does everything in a really weird way, because it’s written by a bunch of autistic people who don’t understand good UX.
It also has weird incompatibilities and bugs that just don’t exist elsewhere.
Also, good luck running old applications. An application built for Maverick Meerkat won’t even run on the latest Ubuntu.

you mean the non-microsoft way?
If anything stands out it's windows, every other operating system used in production worldwide is unix-like. Linux, darwin, bsd, hell even sony's playstations are based on freeBSD. Guess what, they all do things in a similar way windows is the odd man out.
