Speaking of exclusives I feel like this is a good opportunity to remind everyone how retarded BHD's exclusivity rules are. There are certain private/public trackers that you are not allowed to post their internals on, and this rule applies to users who are not even in BHD. This means that if someone cross uploads a BHD internal to another tracker like Aither, a user there can innocently repost to HUNO or some banned tracker (that they're unaware of), and then they will be permanently blacklisted from BHD.

There's a potential OPSEC argument to keeping things off TL, IPT and public trackers(I don't agree with it but I can at least see the logic). Is PTP worth it if I only care about getting the criterion collection? Looks like all of the movies (at least the ones I was interested in enough to check) have remuxes available on the publics. Wouldn't it be better to just get a VPN and grab those instead of grinding for PTP?

The main reason why I go for encodes are the SRT subs. You can jump back to the last subtitle line with ctrl + LEFT in mpv if you couldn‘t read the whole sentence. Doesn‘t work with PGS sadly. Well you can see in the PTP screenshot that the different versions of this movie are allowed to coexist. PTP's rules are not perfect. Only one full bluray disc is allowed to stay per version. In this case the best original non tampered version is on the Japanese disc which has no English subtitles. The rule requires that the disc that remains for that slot has English subtitles. So you can only get that version as an encode or remux which has the subtitles. But in this case the remux is from what I think is the Kino Lorber disc, which is the one on the site and is worse.

I think to be trumpable for inferior source a better one would need to be known to exist. One that does not have English subs does not fit PTP's criteria for "better", hence the JP disc not existing there. Which also means nobody on PTP can download it to make a remux to trump the Kino Lorber remux. Also the full Kino Lorber disc doesn't mention what it actually is and it's just a folder that says FALLEN ANGELS. I wouldn't agree with the other fag that was insisting private trackers are all bad. At least it's possible to work out a tier list of what is worth snatching mentally if you go through all the information here. Something that public trackers completely lack. If you're only downloading things that are worthwhile and leaking them that's obvious too. Then there are the other opsec pitfalls. I presented PTP as the obvious option to leak full bluray discs to because it actually makes sense. All the public shitter encoders are on PTP. Public shitters don't want full discs, they want low quality encodes. If the disc goes up on PTP there's a source for encoders of all kinds to use, public and private. So you need separate identities to make this work and neither must ever be compromised.

As for why I got banned... I was doing some stuff to gain access to unreleased music. Phishing gmail accounts. Installing a FTP server on a famous DJ's PC. Impersonating people on AIM. Just all kinds of crazy shit like that. I shared a few unreleased tracks with some guy on that tracker because I was such a nice guy. He posted them all on the tracker forum then messaged the producer of the tracks on AIM giving out my AIM screen name saying I did it. I demanded the staff either ban him or ban me.
