Thousands of talented programmers improved code quality by publishing their source code and by testing so-called free software, which were essentially beta programs. Multibillion-dollar companies then integrated these softwares into their proprietary systems. The garbage software called Linux was tested for over 30 years with the ideas presented by this fat man, and now companies are making unimaginable amounts of money from it.
