I, a complete nocoder, created a simple voxel game using GPT5. It has block placing, block destroying, jumping, and sneaking. It is clear to me that these AI models are not only intelligent, but in many ways superior to human intelligence.

This looks like a copy of one of the examples in the Raylib example set.
You literally just need to copy and paste to make this.

you couldn't even copypaste a few GL demos yourself and use 1 braincell to piece that together?
you truly are retarded.
now try telling your LLM to create something original that wasn't already written on stackoverflow for it to copypaste.

Wow. It’s so impressive to see AI that’s capable of copy and pasting some example project posted on GitHub six years ago. Truly remarkable.

Well I mean if you're a jeet then yeah at a base level AI is probably more intelligent than you.
Which explains why they love it so much.

what spatial structure did it use for fast rendering of the world? Always thought that was the main challenge in a voxel game.

In natural language, LLMs learn the semantics of a word by reading texts that contain this word, not by studying dictionaries. Maybe it's the same with code, so examples may be more important as documentation for a library than an API documentation is.

Git is way smarter than gpt5 and I could make your game in seconds. The issue with git's AI is that it is not as interpolative as LLMs, so the games you create with git clone are less customized. It's however way smarter and gives you much better code, which you can then customize by hand.

AI is a very useful tool. But it's good to have some idea of what you're doing or you'll end up with a lot of spagetti code. You should also always write tests that test the features you're adding so that you know what they do.
Anonymous No.106367858 [Report] >>106367929
>>106364045 (OP)
I did the same. Now ask it to add inventory where you collect these cubes and place them, as well as add infinite chunk-based worldgen that Minecraft has, or some texture less animal with animated bodyparts that is like minecraft (bunch of cubes walking around). In my testing it will break sooner or later because GPT5 is comically bad at adding vibe features.
Anonymous No.106367929 [Report] >>106367957 >>106369186

You don't say "make infinite worldgen" to accomplish that. God you people are so fucking STUPID no wonder you can't use these tools. You are all a bunch of fucking morons that think you are smarter than you are.

Yet there hasn't been even one vibe coder launching a business and being successful with vibe coding.

How is that?

Come back when you made it add infinite worldgen.
Since you are the smartest prompt engineer in existence, i expect you to deliver it in 10 min.

Its about setting attainable incremental goals for the AI. You don't know a fucking thing about software dev. You are a larper.
Anonymous No.106368005 [Report] >>106368027
>>106367985
Cool, then set the AI attainable incremental goals to achieve infinite world gen.
I don't give a fuck if you need one prompt or 100 prompts, it should be definitely done in 10min to an hour.
Anonymous No.106368022 [Report]
>>106367985
So the reason why you can't do infinite worldgen is because you yourself are a dumbfuck who is incapable of writing the correct prompts?
The AI model is superior to human developers, so the weak link in the chain is you, who isn't prompting right.

There are hundreds of projects that do infinite worldgen voxel worlds on github, in the very data the AI got trained on.

So surely, by prompting correctly, the AI can do it.
Otherwise, what is the point? If i can only take an existing project and be done in 1min of git clone...

I'm no mathematician myself but I can easily multiply HUGE numbers using Calculator. It is clear to me that these calculators are not only intelligent, but in many ways superior to human intelligence.

It was an example to give you. My test of making Minecraft clone got ruined when I wrote “make the floor follow Gaussian noise heightmap with variables changing the size”. It did make the floor follow Gaussian noise heightmap, but it deleted the code responsible for making coloured voxels and completely rewrite the rendering system. The game looked different like if you promoted that in a new chat. It deletes its own code, and trying to argue you need more complex prompts ind inserting snippets of code where were it belongs is just saying you need to actually know programming as opposed to being somebody who never coded. Because all state of the art LLMs were already capable of that.

>infine worldgen this infinite worldgen that
I'm going to guess OP's voxel """engine""" doesn't have any kind of mesh culling, that's assuming it doesn't just have a drawcall for every single voxel. That thing wont scale past your tiny 16x16 platform.
Anonymous No.106369706 [Report]
>>106364045 (OP)
there are plenty of open-source voxel engines on github.
i will be impressed when no-Koders can prompt something without readily available source code to steal.
Anonymous No.106370486 [Report]
Yeah I'd buy that for $80
Anonymous No.106372494 [Report]
OP here. Got infinite worlds set up today. Smashed some bugs. Gonna work on chunking and mesh culling soon.
