Well... OP here and I think I encountered my first Ubuntu problem. If I try to join a lobby on Monster Hunter Rise my screen freezes and I end up joining the lobby alone, and then I get "communication error has occurred." I know Gnome usually spams "Program is not responding" messages but now I think it might prevent me from playing online
