They have a full-text search feature, but it is not for plebs like you reading this. If you never did cocaine in your private jet while having sex relations with a underage female, you don't have access to the APIs

Sounds like a (You) problem. I've never had issues finding what I'm searching for, stuff as far back as 2004.

Yes, they're well intentioned retards. I remember when they animated their logo and it made the site run like shit. If you want to download a domain you have to do it "yourself" (use a script) and make a million requests. I love IA but they're bad at what they do. Personally I think they just pretend to be retarded as an excuse for hosting copyrighted media.

That's not Wayback's fault. That's the original site's. Wayback's crawlers don't have the ability to distinguish that sort of thing, and IMO, they shouldn't

Truth be told, I think not allowing full-text search is, ironically enough, a way to preserve information. If they made it super easy for people to do full-text search, and there was like a "Google search engine," but to search on all archived content, a bunch of fags would hit them with "right to be forgotten" nonsense.

It's preservation by obfuscation.

Exactly. They'd be dead long ago by companies like Nintendo if finding roms and hacks on them was piss easy.

You can literally find CP on archived pages on wayback machine. I kid you not. There are no automatic filters regarding what gets archived.

They do remove content occasionally, but if you fly under the radar...
