im a linux newfag. is there anything like hyprland that works on linux mint? also is there any program that saves my desktop configs and lets me switch between them easily? im not just talking about my wallpaper, but also my discord theme, browser theme, start menu icon, and overall ui color theme.

No idea, but I'd assume it's possible to write your own script for that

That really isn't going to do it for you.
I wonder if bedrock linux is still arround, so you can hyjack linux mint and allow it run newer software like hyperland, at that point it's no longer mint.

i thought the latest versions of it didnt work and it was only outdated broken versions that worked with mint? or at least its not recommended to use it on mint or something.

linux mint has ancient packages that are almost as old as debian stable.
no one should run it unless they're putting it on something extremely old doing an extremely basic task (but at that point you'd just install debian stable because its less bloated).

just install fedora. it's the only good distro.
