Why there are a shit ton of linux distros that attempts to be a replacement for windows and fail miserably instead of converge every effort in creating something like react os?

The majority of people don't want to learn linux and are used to windows

Dude, plenty of distros provide a satisfactory Windows-like experience that niggercattle could use to browse the internet and do office work. What's more is that they can operate on way shittier hardware than Windows 11 can. Consoomers and corpos would only need 4GB RAM <$100 shitbooks instead of $1200 machines. They are unironically being milked dry because of Windows bloat and Apple jewishness.

Linux is Unix but better.

You are comparing two completely different things. Linux can be an "alternative to Windows" by having programs of its own that satisfy an user's needs. It does not necessarily have to run Windows' own programs. If anything, ReactOS' scope is closer to WINE's.
