Anons, so basically i got the S25 Ultra, and ive been very happy with it for the last couple of days. The user experience is very good, the AI features for photos and in general are very conveniently made, probably one of the best experiences for me. Before this, i had a Pixel 9 XL, and even though they call it an AI phone, its actually a mid-range phone with just good cameras, where half of the features dont even work depending on the country, and it also has a questionable battery. By the way, mine was stolen/taken from me, and comparing it to this is like night and day in terms of quality. The only thing that bothers me are the third-party Samsung apps that are helpful in some ways but also annoying, but its okay, i can deal with it

I'm using the default Samsung gallery app but I haven't synced it with OneDrive - instead I just installed Google Photos which automatically backs up my Gallery images to Google Photos (which uses your Google account storage). I think there is also a Google Gallery app on the Play store but I haven't tried it.

I really wish Android heads-up notifications were larger, like on iOS.

My Redmi Note 14 4g arrived and it's basically perfect, like an iPhone 14 Plus at a quarter of the price with only a few compromises. It feels almost as good as my LG V60 in the hand, it's even a bit lighter.

I just tried out the IR blaster on my 15 year old air conditioner and it works great.

The only thing different than I expected is that it doesn't have FM radio (The Redmi Note 14 Pro 4g does, and I would have probably ordered that one of I did, although this one has a flat screen which I prefer a lot). But the headphone jack powers my Sennheiser headphones nicely.

I'll update in a day or so when I've had the chance to, but this is an 8/10 experience for 150 euros. This doesn't feel like a cheap phone at all. The only thing that lets me know it's not a flagship is the cheap haptics, but otherwise would buy again.
