Internet hero ports the original uBlock Orgin to Manifest V3
Works normally, but you have to sideload to bypass Google limitation. Which is great, since normies will be too retarded to install it.

Google is not planning on removing webRequestBlocking for forceinstalled extensions. I assume it's because of school/enterprise network filtering extensions effectively requiring it to function.

it'd be totally irrelevant anyway. Since it's open sourced then someone else would reupload it without the bs.

It's a fork from the original repo. You can look the code yourself to see the changes.

From what I read, it still uses v2 for the requestwebblocking thing because under this manual installation method it can still be used.

Okay, I'm a total layman here. Can somebody explain to me how this is possible? I thought the entire architecture of manifest v3;made it so this wouldn't be possible. I mean you could always just sideload extensions - So why was everyone so extremely upset and why were there 20 billion threads and controversy around this if you could literally just make the same exact extension and sideload it?

No developer wants manual installation to become the default method of official distribution for their extension. It's basically a death sentence.

That should return because it was a mistake on the developer's part.

For God's sake, just download the project, go to the main folder, then install the make command, then type "make", enable developer mode on a Chromium-based browser and drag the "uBlock0.chromium" folder (located on "uBlock-mv3-master\dist\build\uBlock0.chromium") onto Chromium. Are you a motherfucking retard?!
