pretty much where I have been since 2020. I have a Linux server, desktop, multiple vm's and services along with an M1 MBP. there is no advantage or perk of also having a windows machine, especially if I can just spin up a virtual one if I ever need. windows isos are free, massgrave is free, there is just no benefits/features.

I have a job and I still distrohop. Playing with tech and new software is a fun hobby. Many a late night weekend was spent after the kids are asleep either playing games or installing Linux on a cheap laptop/workstation/server that was thrown away at work.

I have plenty of experience using bleeding edge Linux software, including Arch (and Gentoo, for that matter), and am not looking for that at this stage in my life.
Don't assume that just because someone isn't using Arch that they're not familiar with it. Some of us need our computers to work tomorrow just like they did yesterday and are okay with software being a little "old". I have all the features I need.

Borked Windows shell, I am going to wait till windows 12 when I will consider upgrading to 11 if fixed or 12 if that version fixes it, at least on my main system, on my laptop I'm going to stick with 11 because it came with it, it also allows me to learn about windows 11 changes, so I am not dumb founded when I eventually switch to it or 12 (like most linux user, my god do they not know how to use a pc).

I sincerely gave Windows 11 a fair shake several times and I just ended up reinstalling windows 10 and using Linux

I vowed to never use Windows again after learning about copilot and changes to the start menu, notepad, the terrible compositor performance etc

Why should my Arch Linux stop working tomorrow? I update on the weekend and I use snapshots to be able to do rollbacks. Never had to do a rollback. Basically all other Distros notoriously ship outdated packages requiring you to use additional package managers or workarounds to actually use the PC creating more instability than to just use Arch in my experience.
