You do
>seed your torrents
>maintain your ratios
>share your digital media
>digitize and share your physical media
>donate to open source projects and free services
>sponsor your open source dev's github
>pay for all your commercial software
>run nodes for decentralized projects
>donate your excess storage and CPU
right? Right?

>>seed your torrents
Yes, but only if the content is good and worth seeding.
>>maintain your ratios
I give back the same amount I download at the very minimum.
>>share your digital media
Nyaa closed registrations and other public trackers ban my account for no reason other than not being part of their IRC clique. I got into a private tracker but they want me to go through some gay ass job interview just to have the "privilege" of sharing some old ass anime remux I have that's not available anywhere else.
>>digitize and share your physical media
See above, they made sharing too hard.
>>donate to open source projects and free services
lol no, they wouldn't be free if they needed my money now would they?
>>sponsor your open source dev's github
Yeah sure, I love raid shadow legends and nordvpn.
>>pay for all your commercial software
Commercial software is just monthly subscriptions, I would pay if they let me actually own the software.
>>run nodes for decentralized projects
I run node.js
>>donate your excess storage and CPU
I throw my shit when it's old and use my CPU for porn and hentai.

I actually seed way more than what I download. Last I downloaded something must have been a month ago but the BitTorrent always starts with the system and I seed.

No fuck you.

No.
I'd seed if I had the space for it, but managing and backing up a shitload of data I'm not using is a pain, so I just delete all installers and anime once I'm done with them. There's no point in seeding niche torrents non-indefinitely since there might not be anyone to download them, and there's no point in seeding popular torrents non-indefinitely since they're already popular.

>>donate to open source projects and free services
Rarely but yes

Hahaha.
>>run nodes for decentralized projects
I have not at the moment
>>donate your excess storage and CPU
Same as above. Beyond basic filehosting stuff anything else works so much better on purpose built machines these days. I used to do things like Folding@home but electricity prices here are nutso (60c/kWh) and HPCs with the right architecture can run modern versions of those tools so much better.

Your post is dumb but the picture is very cute.

I do all this except sponsoring open source projects. I never use any FOSS and I expect them to have a GPL license, they can negotiate to sell a more permissive license to businesses so I don't expect them to rely on charity.

Btw torrents are great for anyone interested in watching older movies.

Something I noticed when with movies from public torrents – leeches use a great variety of clients, yet the vast majority of seeders use qBittorrent.

Probably because qbitorrent is best for running on a home server or seedbox.
