The current internet is infested with "local memes" of standards
If someone is born 50 years from now, they won't be able to understand the internet at all security wise because of how bloated and specific the protocol standards are getting, like a local meme that keeps getting added to. If it's practically impossible to create a new browser from scratch right now, imagine the situation in 50 years.
