Is Apple retarded? How am I supposed to use the platform remotely via ssh as a server if every binary update requires re-authorization of Local Network and Volume access?

sshd, and any child process it spawns, aka your sessions, are whitelisted from this.
The real trap is the MAC (mandatory access control) for directories. When setting up sshd in the GUI there's a checkbox to "allow remote users to have full disk access" that you have to check, under the main sshd enable toggle, to not shoot yourself in the foot.

you keep ssh and vnc open, and use vnc to click the GUI dialogs when updating the ssh server. how technically illiterate do you have to be to not understand that? this is american zoomer levels of stupidity.

ssh and vnc at the same time sounds pointless

I'm old enough to remember Apple dunking on MS for Vista's excessive UAC prompts. Now they're even worse.
macPOS won't even let me open INF files in TextEdit without going into Privacy and Security each time!

>Is Apple retarded?

Yes, it has been retarded since Wozniak stopped having a say. The retardedness started in the mid 80s when Jobs decided to cripple the Apple Lisa and create the Macintosh which didn't sell at all due to (initially) being almost unusable.

>using ssh over vnc
>everyone else is tech illiterate
i have run a lot of servers in my life and not once, never, have i had to use vnc.

>>106397608
it is pointless, slow and unreliable. some isps offer it to help manage servers, and in case your ip address won't connect directly to a server. outside of tiny usecases like that, you should never use vnc for ssh.
