Technically speaking, we should have 20TB NVME and 100TB HDDs at an extremely reasonable price right now.
However, jews gonna jew and you will never be allowed to own anything.
Also normalfaggots don't seem to need more than 1TB so prices and storage capacity will stay the same for years to come.

Modern HDDs are silent.
But that's the least of the troubles.
They're slow as you say, and anything over 1TB is an unreliable piece of shit that will die on you.
We just don't make em as reliable as they used to be.
It's more or less the same problem as floppy disks manufactured in the 90's.

Actually, looking and researching a bit seems like what i said USED to be true, but due competition with SSDs or something, they're stepping up the reliability game on bigger drives.
