FAQ:
>How do I activate Windows?
github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts
HWID2 generates and registers a permanent legitimate license on MS's activation servers
Usage: paste into Powershell, run

irm https://get.activated.win | iex

>and Office?
Same link, select Ohook option
You can also use Office.com if your needs are very minimal
or try OnlyOffice/LibreOffice and set it to save in MSOffice file formats

Anyone have any experience with the Rufus Windows User Experience while preparing a W11 IoT Enterprise LTSC? I just learned of it a few minutes ago.
My main curiosity is if it is required at all, since I have yet to try W11 IoT(W10 was no problem with a local account, zero bitlocker, zero OneDrive) Are there better ways to adjust the install for a more lean and less bothersome W11?

Because that's what most of us have used in our lives? I always appreciate Linux distros closing the gap between themselves and Windows, but the fact is that it takes time and dedication to learn a new OS. Most people are just going to stick with what they know unless shit REALLY hits the fan (i.e. Windows 11).

I started using Mullvad recently, its not bad. I also bit the bullet and started using Brave too. For a chromium-based browser, I'm impressed.

There is a command that opens a local account prompt in the windows 11 installer. I have not tried any other methods. I uninstalled OneDrive manually.

I will probably do the same. I will look for that command elsewhere then before I try to manipulate the iso. Thank you for the reply.

Yeah OneDrive is pretty harmless without any MS account.

Is there a way to hide Folders() in This PC (the subsection on top of Devices and drives)? It seems like for that I'd need to hide every user folder but I'd like to keep some of them though...

>Have to log in to a ms account to play

This is why I fucking hate windows. I don't see how playing minecraft means I want all my current bookmarks synced, and all my old bookmarks from my university days just popping into my browser for no reason.

If you're playing Minecraft you should be using third party launchers like UltimMC or Prism, which allow you to play offline with local accounts (though with Prism you gotta run a cmd command to get around needing an MS account active first.)

Librewolf has these strange issues, like pasting multiple lines into chatgpt will freeze the browser somehow. Some gobbirmint website got misiderected when I logged in... Not sure if it's that great larping privacy when most of the things I do are behind an account anyway.

I use ungoogled chromium, firefox scrolling feels off even after using Betterfox enhancements, feels like it's trying to emulate smooth movement rather than being smooth to begin with.

Brave is great but I can't stand their stupid lion icon. Yes I'm that petty.

For some reason I have this weird stutter whenever in Windows 11. Feels like a mix of tearing with stutter, like my gsync is broken.

If I move the camera in games, the game will tear in small areas around the screen and make the game stutter at the same time.
What's weird is how this only happens in Windows 11 24H2 and beyond, LTSC version makes no difference. 23H2 or Windows 10 is silky smooth.

Tried to disable fullscreen optimizations and shit, nothing works.

I learned to get over the lion icon. I'm just glad I can completely hide all the crypto shit with policies. I guess you could change the icon on your start menu and taskbar but you'll still see it in the urlbar.
