/csg/ - Chink Shit General
Everything is already from China, but here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.
1st rule of /csg/: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

The best you can do, realistically, is offer it once. Then if they don't engage with it, disengage and move on. You can offer again next time. Other than that lead by example, once they realize you own something cool and you say it's from aliexpress, they'll come around eventually.
But some people are brainbroken that china=low quality, and you can't fix those people. For those people you have to let it go.

Anyone using Philips OneBlade razors? It's the only one that werks without raping my neck skin compared to traditional electric razors, but having to change its blades every so often is quite costly. How are the chink copies of those blades? Or are they exactly the same sold here coming from the same factory?

So i ordered something from banggood a week or so ago and i noticed that they do fake shipping shit. On their website you can look on the order and see shipping updates but if you then try to use that shipping number on any 3rd party tracking site it will show up as if they only registered the parcel but never sent it.
>flight has taken off
>in transit
etc. Yet there is no updates whatsoever across several different parcel tracker sites ive tested. Not a single update on my local official parcel site of where the package will arrive. Wtf is this bullshit?

Sellers are price dodging the 20% coupons.
For a second time I had an item carted just over $15. An hour or two later it went just below that.

I've used one of those blades for 2+ years. It worked just fine. Not sure why you feel the need to "replace them so often".
I've recently bought an 8-pack of replacements on a discount and now I'm good for many more years.

>They wait until the sale is over so orders can be consolidated
That's the common approach and I'd understand that, but a single item for 2€ didn't ship while the rest did, so my guess is that during consolidation that item didn't make it in time and now the seller either has to pay the shipping fee or cancel.
Bit annoying because I kinda wanted that item before next week, but it is what it is.

My laptop's charger is falling apart and I'm considering replacing it with this and getting a nice high power wall charger instead of the brick I have right now. Would you guys say it's safe to plug my laptop into this more 'niche' chink cable?

Anonymous No.106413380 >>106415171

All the actual power stuff happens inside the brick with USB-C PD, so from that perspective it's safe, the cable is just some wires and a PD trigger IC.

On the other hand, it claims to be 19V, which is not one of the standard voltages that the brick will support: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hardware#USB_Power_Delivery

So in fact, you'll get 20V instead. Technically out of spec but it's so close I give it a 95% chance it'll be fine.

I use the genuine version of these from Costco

I wouldn't buy knockoff blades but what I do need is a replacement comb for the #1 shave size. The tabs on my genuine one broke off and now they repeatedly fall off while I'm shaving as soon as I apply pressure on them. It's a nightmare

Just get yourself a nice GaN charger.
Those USB C to DC adapters are rather simple they just have a 20v PD chip on them and if it fails at worst they just stop supplying power unlike with normal chink chargers where they can send 110v AC accidentally.
Or send 20v to the 0.8v data/charger ID pin and kill the superIO.
