Community for psychotic nerds that want to invent stupid tech
Anybody else extremely lonely but still oddly optimistic about technology and science? How do socially isolated researchers/devs/hobbyists who want to invent things even find other people to shoot ideas off of? Is there a VR chat server I can join or something? I don't really want to move to austin

Put on a maid outfit and join the maidposters in /dpt/. All maids do is discuss advanced Mathematics and Computer Science research and program the computer.

Find a forum that's related to the specific technology you're interested in. There are forums about computers, flashlights, cars, radios, free energy devices, etc.

I need something slightly more intimate. I think I need to actually talk to people. I don't talk to anyone at all irl.

If you post maid projects, you will get invited into the Inner Circle of the Science Foundation for maids and then you'll be able to instant message other maids who share your interests whenever you want in an environment with no trolls. You can post maids and discuss your projects all day and nobody will ever call you "tranny" or say other mean things, and they will be nice and help with projects.

1. What's a maid project? I don't actually code that much, my projects are more on the science side. Maybe I could start some hobby projects though. I don't really want to post my scientific projects on the chinz since I don't want any future publications to be traceable back to a cantonese whore mongering forum.
2. I just like lesbian anime girls in general, I don't have any images of maids, is that okay? Should I rewatch maid dragon? I still haven't seen S2.

Twitter.
>want to invent things
Anon, you can just do things. You don't need people to shoot ideas off of.
>Austin
Austin's scene is a bit weak, better if you're into designer babies. Silicon Valley is better. I suspect the Gundo might be a close second though
