That's very interesting, but what about someone else having access to my flashdrive (for whatever reason), aren't they getting access to all of my stuff, including passwords? Is there a way to encrypt FF when it's not plugged? I can totally see the convenience, but the implications can be a bit wild. Thanks for the write up, though.

"1000W" lol
Never used one, so IDK for sure, but that number is completely made up. 5 18650s in the typical power tool pack gets you maybe 300W. And that better be start and stop, not continuous for several minutes or you're going to have serious safety issues.

I still wonder how some companies like 8bitdo are able to release controllers for so cheap. I mean I'm not complaining either, but $30 leafbucks is still a pretty big steal for a controller thats better than the Madcatz shit we had back then.

Yeah I'm aware, the led strips are dimmable (since they are smart/zigbee compatible), the bulb isn't. That lamp isn't meant to be mood lighting though, it's supposed to go on my desk, the left side of it I have a lightbar for, but the right is too dark. Doubt I need dimmability for that, but to be fair I have little idea if 9W is good or too bright or not bright enough.
>and CRI
I wonder if that matters to me, I suppose time will tell. Will post in the review when it arrives (by eye though I have no idea how to quantify cri)

Most components of a controller cost pennies, I'd imagine the battery is the bulk of the cost.
It looks kind of crazy (and for the consumer, blessed) relative to first party, but consider also how wild Microsoft's profit margins must be selling a $65 controller with no included batteries that also have less internal tech than $20-30 chinkshit.

gaming companies have figured it out
playing a 4 player game on the xbox will require 3 additional controllers at $75-200 per controller, and then there's the cost of games at $60-80 a pop in addition to xbox live monthly fee if you're serious about online matchmaking
they got my brother so hard because he buys the yearly ufc, fifa and nba's at full price as soon as they're released. the playerbase migrates with the new games so if you "skip" one your strats and playstyle may be outdated if you decide to pick it up again the following year

I'm not the anon that posted it, but I have a keychron C2 and have been using it for years. It's never had any issues, so zero complaints on my part.
Keychron used to be a no-brainer recommendation, but since then they've gotten a lot more popular and well known, which has caused them to raise their prices. So now while the quality is still the same, the value isn't quite as amazing.
Think of it like a naturehike of keyboards, you know you'll get a certain level of quality, but you also know you're paying a premium for that fact. Up to you if you think it's worth that.

That being said I rarely get consoom regret, maybe if I feel like I paid a bit too much. I used to get it more, but that was in the early days when I wasn't a high leveled chinkshitter who can tell the quality of an item from a listing and can infer how much he'll like it. Instead I now have a bunch of csg items around that make me happy everytime I see them.

I've already recommended picrel and will do so every time the topic comes up. Electric razors are shit at shaving your head, no matter if it's a trimmer or a rotary. I've tried a bunch of them, even larger rotaries marketed specifically for shaving your head, and they are all slower + do a worse job than shaving with razors. I can understand not wanting to use a classic razor to shave your head because you're scared of cutting yourself, but picrel is super safe. I've only nicked myself once in ~2 years and only because I jerked my arm while doing a sweeping motion for something unrelated, and even then it was barely noticeable. Yes you do have to swap out razor heads every once in a while but you can buy them in bulk and they will last you a long time (only had to buy them once so far). electric ones also require head changing, and it will cost more than the original razor costed you.

Has anyone here ever done a chargeback against Aliexpress? Could you describe the process to me?
I think my bank was trying to gaslight me. They explained that I can make a request of "recall funds", whereupon my bank will contact Aliexpress and ask them if they are willing to return the funds or not. If Aliexpress says no, then end of story and I'm out of my money.
They never heard of or used the word chargeback, which is pathetic and I can't just write it off as a language barrier thing. At no point would I be asked to provide proof or communication or anything either, since there would be no any kind of dispute process.
There isn't anything available resembling to a chargeback process, which seems insane to me.

Interesting, thank you for confirming my doubts.
I'm seriously thinking about switching a bank, but I doubt the alternatives are any better. Regardless I'm going to ask around the other banks if they have any idea about chargebacks at all.
I just finished talking with my bank's customer service. They at least had an idea of what a chargeback is.
Seems like I first must make a formal "complaint", then the bank will decide what happens and reply in 15 business days. They couldn't tell me more. It appears there is no set process of handling chargebacks.
By the way, the number of their customer service was not free and I spent 3$ for listening their shitty elevator music.

Keep in mind that chargebacks are a sort of "last resort" type of thing, you aren't meant to do them often and they will fuck your standing with whatever site you bought from.
It's not that you should get a bank that allows you to do many chargebacks, it's moreso that the fact that your bank doesn't (or barely does) indicates that it's not all that great overall.

Depends on what the tester does.
If it just measures voltage, no.
If you apply a load that draws close to max current (and thus max power), and it doesn't heat up substantially and the voltage is consistent, then probably safe, yes.
Got the VEVOR air impact today. It feels pretty nice, as well as the sockets.
It comes with an oiler fitting and a swivel fitting (which I won't be able to use as my plant uses automotive fittings). Will test when I got to work in a couple days.

looks exactly the same as the shit i've bought locally for 20€ 10 years ago. pretty mediocre. i think you'd be better off buying the cheap electric makita knockoff with a proper battery.
My desk stuff arrived, review incoming.
>PU leather desk mat/pad 45x90 cm (8.22€)
It's honestly pretty nice for the cost.
Pretty much the typical PU leather feeling, but it feels thicker than expected. Pleasant texture to touch/rest your skin on. It looks nice too and the resistance it offers to the mouse, while higher than on that dedicated mouse pad fabric, isn't all that bad.
Obviously it's moreso for office work than gaming, but it should be fine for the occasional gaming session if you're not trying to minmax the competitive angle.
What I'm hoping to get from it and I think it offers is a nicer aesthetic than a normal mousepad and easier cleaning (just wipe it off). What I can't comment on and is the most likely issue with this pad is longevity, PU that starts peeling is annoying and essentially trash. Time will tell. Given the cheap cost I can't complain.
>Wooden wrist rest for mouse (6.52€)
I have no idea how to identify wood, I seriously doubt it's walnut though, feels too light for that. It's machined really well, it doesn't come out as much in the pictures, but it's not as simple as a square, it's got nicely rounded edges and is deeper in the middle than the sides, so your wrist can rest nicely in the middle. Comes with rubber feet at the bottom to avoid slipping. It's sanded to be smooth and treated, feels like oil or wax or something, you can still feel some of the wood texture underneath but it's definitely not raw wood.
Whatever it is, it's not (as I feared) cheap composite wood or mdf or some shit. It feels sturdy and well made.
Comfort is good, though it's noticeably harder than a cushioned pad (duh). I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it's a noticeable difference at first.
Overall, very happy with it. It's cheap, it looks nice, and in terms of shape they went the extra mile to machine out the center and create a more ergonomic wrist shape. Impressive honestly.

Here's a bit more of a top view.
Given that the mouse and keyboard rest were different sellers I got really lucky with the colors matching.
>full-size (44cm) keyboard rest (14.17€)
Anything I said about the mouse rest I can also say about the keyboard. It's machined well, it's pleasant to use, it's got the right dimensions, it even has the same rubber feet to avoid slipping. It also doesn't feel like walnut either, but whatever it is it's not bad wood. The shape is a bit more standardized than for the mouse (basically a rectangle with a bit of a slope and rounded edges), but it's executed well.
While I would consider the mouse wristrest optional, the keyboard rest makes a massive difference in ergonomics and how pleasant it is to type.
Highly recommended.
Overall, very happy with this order. The PU leather's longevity will remain a question, but the wooden rests I can already tell I'll like and will make my desk more pleasant to use.

And lastly, a picture of the mouse wristrest from a profile perspective to better explain the shape it has.
The backview is where you can see how your wrist is meant to rest in the middle, then it all tapers down a little towards the front, which is how you get that front profile.

Usually the components inside are low quality and the transformer is badly winded in cheap phone chargers. They also usually have cheap housings that can come apart and expose the 120v prongs (I've had this happen once on an aliexpress charger)
It will probably work without issues basically forever, but it might short to mains voltage someday and either trip the breaker or turn your phone into an IED.

The boom boom is a bit of a meme, chargers don't go boom boom really.
There's really 4 options:
You plug it in and there's some loud spark and the breaker flips immediately -> Probably a short that involved a capacitor somewhere that blew up. Unplug and throw away.
You plug it in and it gets hot very fast -> It's got a short somewhere and will release magic smoke almost immediately. Unplug and throw away.
Neither of these 2 are common, as even the most technically inept user could figure them out and leave bad reviews.
You plug it in and it works, but gets very hot over time at higher loads -> It's a bad circuit design. This is what you're actually looking for. Since heat dissipation is often proportional to power, you want some load that takes as much wattage as the device can offer (for example a laptop charger). If the heat is too high for comfort, throw it out.
You plug it in and it works and it either stays room temp or mildly warm at high load -> It's fine to use, enjoy.
The common failures are inefficiency, which has the risk of heating up, which can be a dangerous hazard, or improper grounding, which shouldn't be an issue with a plastic shell. If it doesn't get dangerously hot it's probably fine to use. Might not be GaN levels of efficient, but work just fine.

Is there any meaningful difference between these two?

that rma-223 is the generic chink flux, it works (not great but it still gets the job done). it leave behind a soft wax like substance that you should to clean (with plenty amounts of ipa and some mild heat).
the other one claims to be a no clean, but ive never used a paste that was indeed no clean, all ive tested over the years still leave some sort of residue behind (i have not tested that very many, tho, so that this with a grain of salt).
the only truly no clean flux ive found is the generic flux pens, the liquid (not paste) dispensed completly evaporates and leaves no residue behind.
honestly, just get the cheapest paste chang has on offer and clean the finished board after your done with it, its a much better deal for all everyone and everything

About the same to be honest.
If you don't trust Ali, use paypal, they're easier to take your money back, just know that if you do you'll be banned on ali.
I used paypal when I got started and didn't trust them yet.

Rolled up as one big roll, but no reinforcement iirc. It's been a while (as I said, the keyboard rest was the last to arrive so I don't quite remember 100% if the roll was in a padded package or a normal one). Should be fine unless your delivery person legitimately goes sicko mode on the parcel though.
In my case it also came consolidated with other stuff, which I think further helped.
When you unroll it it'll have a bit of a PU leather smell and not be perfectly flat, but a few minutes rolled out and the smell should dissipate and it'll become flat.

anyon know any waterproof shoes or something like that from Ali?
I'm trying to gather a biking rain kit.
I got a jacket from Aldi for 18 euro today, its crazy since it has both back vents and pit zips, and I've only ever seen that in several times more expensive products. hope it actually holds water, but the cheapest one with pitzips is this 33000ft jacket for 50+€ on amz
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Waterproof-Outdoor-Lightweight-Packable-Raincoat/dp/B08CGQNJ84?
aldi is truly fantastic. wonder what their margins are.
I also have some a bit undersized pants but I need something to keep my feet dry
any ideas?
or also of anyone knows some synthetic quick dry pants, cause every time I ride my ass is just sopping wet.
and on this topic further, anyone ever buy any net underlayer like the Nordic military uses? mesh underlayer apparently is extremely good at thermal and also let's moisture evaporate well. but I'm not paying a fortune for that. I've seen similar fetish wear on Ali for couple bucks.

Relatively low, which is why they compensate for it with pure volume. They're all over the country for a reason.
>mesh underlayer apparently is extremely good at thermal and also let's moisture evaporate well
I can't speak to biking, but mesh is great for thermal insulation for hiking, unreal performance. That goes both ways though, if it's not actually cold it's too insulating. You'll want thicker mesh than most fetish gear, as the insulating power is the air you trap between it and you upper layer.

Diversification and offering different options for other market segments.
You can't compete on a pure value proposition usually, as the scalar effects of the established sellers will make it unfeasible.
So you either make an emotionally more valuable product (branding), a different product (diversification) or a product that's more niche (boutique stuff).
Simply said, don't compete with "cheap, decent enough sports clothes" with aldi. You're gonna use. But some special design or feature? Premium materials? Those work.

well, as far as that last part is, its 100% polyester oeko-tex 100 certified, not sure what it uses for the advertised water repellent part, or how much rain it can actually withstand (chargpt said 3000mm but I don't know if it hallucinated it or not), but I've been searching for ANYTHING with pitzips for like a year so i hope its good. and it has a mesh underlayer so I think at least I'm not gonna be wet from sweat in it, if I go slowly.
ironically though the best fabric would be complete waterproof plastic. just have to make it with zips and good ventilation stuff.
if it isn't good wonder if I could try to DIY a wax oil waterproof coating, or would it melt the polyester or wouldn't absorb

>if it isn't good wonder if I could try to DIY a wax oil waterproof coating, or would it melt the polyester or wouldn't absorb
First step for synthetics especially would be those spray cans sold to waterproof textiles and shoes that I think are silicone based. Unlike the other options, these don't compromise the breathability of the fabric. Been using them on shoes and my backpack for ages, works fine in light to medium rain.
The DIY wax solution won't work as well for synthetic fibers as it won't soak in right and then peel off. Works fine for cotton and such, less so polyester.

It really depends. Including on how profitable you are as a customer to them, i.e. by being rich and always paying your bills on time. But yeah in the end a lot of times I think they end up just eating the cost instead of putting a full chargeback through.
Most customers are fucking illiterate, so you will have much better chances if you can clearly lay out your expectations for the transaction, how the merchant has failed to meet them, and how you've already tried to make it right with the merchant (including dates) but failed.

>"recall funds" makes it sound like you paid with your checking account over ACH rails
It's a gay language thing that obfuscates everything, but it's supposedly for recalling wrongly sent funds between trusted partners (friends, government offices, local stores). Checking account or credit card doesn't seem to matter.
The local bank employees had no idea about chargebacks, so they gave me their "recall funds" form, which I knew of beforehand and also knew it's not what I wanted. (Also completely useless to be fair.)
Yeah, I'm going to capitalize that I want a CHARGEBACK and send all the proof. Unfortunately, the online form for it only allows 5 files at 4MB size at most. I have 42 files and 110MB of proof.

Mini-review / comparison of 2 65W GaN flat chargers
>Essager vs Vention
Essager is left and top in pic related while Vention is right and bottom
>Price
From the stores I bought them from, the Essager was under 17USD and the Vention was 28USD
>Physical specs
Essager is smaller in all dimensions and weighs ~83g vs Vention's ~122g
The Essager feels substantially lighter in hand. Both feel solid otherwise.
Both have folding US plugs but the Vention comes with a UK adapter and an EU adapter in the box
>Charging specs
Essager: 45W + 12W if using both ports
Vention: 45W + 20W if dual USB-C; 45W + 18W USB-C & A
>Miscellaneous
My Samsung S23 starts fast charging almost immediately when connected to the Essager while it takes about 1 - 2 seconds with the Vention
The Vention is a little warmer to the touch compared to the Essager after a 10-minute charging session
The adapters for the Vention are hard as fuck to take off; the UK adapter especially.
Unfortunately the Vention adapter don't fit into the Essager
>Final thoughts
Unless you really need the better multi-port charger specs of the Vention, I'd recommend getting the Essager charger of the two.
If you need adapters, buy a second Essager but the UK or EU version; it's just the US version plus adapter in the box for a few bucks more.

>perhaps a longshot but any tips for (cute) bookmarkers?
While I do like bookmarks, my style is very different from what you posted.
See picrel, some of these are in packaging still as have them for gifting people.
From left to right:
1 - Metal bookmark, you can find these by looking for "van gogh bookmark" or "van gogh metal bookmark" in the bundles. They're from famous van gogh paintings, including the famous sunflowers and starry night. Come with cutouts and a fabric string thingy at the end. Look nice, feel premium, overall not bad.
2 - Wooden bookmark with koi on it. Wood is a nice material, feel sturdy, but a little too thick for my tastes, which makes them annoying to use. They also have that string thingy which I find more annoying than useful.
3 - "Memory fragments" paper thingies. They weren't even advertised as bookmarks, I think they're for meditation or some shit. Thickened paper/cardboard, so far less sturdy than the rest, but large (helps not move around in the book), pretty, with various motifs and thin. These are my favorite of the entire bunch. If you read a lot away from home/on the go, they will eventually get beat up, you can see an example in the 0 marked one, it's got dog ears etc. I don't mind and you get plenty of spares, but it's worth keeping in mind.
4 - Scrapbook paper - too thin, too small, don't get.
5 - magnetic bookmarks - a solid middle ground of being more safely seated than the paper bookmarks and not being quite as large and thick as the wooden one.
6 - just if you're considering gifts for someone that reads, these thingies for your thumb to hold the book open are often nice gifts (get ones from wood though, not plastic like me). Personally I find that I rarely use them but some people seem to like them.
Overall, as a gift I'd recommend 1, for myself I think 3 is the best, 5 is a solid middle ground, 2 is fine if you just read at home, stay away from 4.

Tassel was the term for it, thanks kek.
I think it kind of depends on your use case, my issue is just that I have zero emotional attachment to it (I find the bookmark looks equally as good with or without) and the only practical upside is if the bookmark doesn't peek out the top a little it makes it easier to find, but you also have that entire thing dangling there which is annoying and if you travel a lot with books (I do most my reading on public transport) and you carry it in a bag or backpack, it's just one more thing to get snagged on something. So for me the downsides drastically outweigh the upsides.
But if I did all my reading at home and maybe that was a bit more in line with my interior design, I could see the appeal.
Thankfully they are usually just a loop that's threaded to itself, so they are trivial to remove if you don't want it.

Obviously use what you have, but all of the ones in that picture were from bundle deals and under 2€. I'd say add some you like to the cart and next time you need a third item to get the shipping minimum, or you have 5 items and want that 6 item discount, add it. With the discount it's basically a freebie.

Can't think of one, most only seem to have a rubber loop, which obviously you can attach a carabiner to, but I'd suspect the rubber might have material fatigue over time and it'd wobble around more.
Xiaomi also doesn't seem to have anything in that form factor.
A quick look on ali found
https://aliexpress.com/item/1005009506612714.html
"Joyroom Wearable Bluetooth"[...]
which has a clip (albeit not a carabiner), but I have no idea how it sounds, it's under half the size of the xiaomi one I suggested, which usually means less sound quality and loudness, and it's a bit overpriced.
Maybe some other anon has some suggestion that they actually tried.

Got a couple of items, can't be bothered to take pictures now, will add later.
>NiceHCK flathead earbuds
Perfect for listening to something laying in bed, even on the side -- they don't stick out much, if at all. Had a pair before, broke (physically -- stepped on them by accident), got another one. Three or so bucks and they put a waifu card in the box.
>Metal clips for securing cables on the bike
U-shaped anodized clips, nothing out of the ordinary. They look decent, fit well at first glance, my only concern is that they might rattle on harsh surfaces. We'll see.
>A pair of smaller bags
They are purple, very thin and light, supposedly waterproof (had one like that before, rain didn't get in) Dyneema bags. One can be used as a bum bag OR on the chest or waist strap of the backpack; other one as an over the shoulder OR attached to a shoulder strap. Very handy for me -- I often take small two-day trips to some hiking spots. While in mountains they work as backpack expansions, to keep things you might need on hand without the need to remove the backpack; and when I'm done and want to check out the town/village, I use them to carry phone and keys and money around. And I fucking love this color.
I actually will take the pictures now.

The T8H are both equally badly off center. The extra T9H and T10H are slightly better but still shit.
An anon posted a photo of his set which is different than mine. From what I can tell the torx security bits are omitted all together in his set. Probably cause they suck anyways. Based on that I would probably trust the quality of his version more.
The photos I saw in the reviews show sets with much better bits. Nowhere near as far off center holes. That's why bought this listing.
The bits are stamped CRV but it's most definitely bullshit.

I see most ifixit hardware as you paying for the quality assurance primarily, but in my case I also consider it a sort of charitable donation, like yeah you're getting a bit more money than this is worth, but I've also used your website to fix a bunch of electronics for free, so have these few bucks. Plus I don't think I've seen their weird gel thingy that you heat up in the microwave and use to loosen up glue on electronics on ali yet.

While that's a fair approach, the truth is that many good tools are really really expensive, so there's a good chance your financial situation doesn't allow it. Also as a beginner you usually have little understanding what tools actually matter and what tools don't, so you run the risk of paying a shitton for something you end up using like 5 times over 3 years.
Personally I like to get a cheap version and then if it breaks after a few years I re-evaluate based on how much I used it.
For example calipers, you can get the cheapo plastic 2€ ones, and if you end up using them a lot, get some proper ones (either analog or digital with certificate of calibration) made of metal. No point buying the expensive ones and then realizing you don't really need them and usually use a meter stick instead.

No idea what you mean by "real".
The term you're looking for is Shemagh. The one most closely associated with palestine is the white and black checkered type. I'd know because I used to (still do) wear shemaghs a lot because they are convenient, and the israel palestine situation made it so I no longer wear the white black ones because it raises chances that someone feels the need to talk to me about israel palestine when all I want to do is be left alone. Hence I now primarily wear dark brown ones (light brown checkered is also associated with palestine though less strongly).
The ones you find on ali that are cheap are very thin fabric though, which may or may not be what you want. They're also usually 1m*1m (95cm*95cm) which afaik is a bit different than the traditional way.
If shemagh doesn't yield the results you want, consider looking for "Keffiyeh".

While the wrist rest is very nice I have to warn you that mouse wrist rests are terribad for your wrist. They squezze the carpal tunnel by putting pressure on the inside of the wrist (bad) and encourages wrist instead of elbow or arm movement (bad) I had a very confortable one and it completely fucked my wrists in a couple months. Wrists rests are only fine is they're use to rest your palm on like keyboard "wrist"rests. And you obviously can't use it like that with mice or you loose all mobility.

>Wrists rests are only fine is they're use to rest your palm on like keyboard "wrist"rests.
Can you elaborate? Doesn't feel like the angle I move my wrists on the keyboard wrist rest to get from the extremes (g->caps, h->enter) is that much less than what I use with the mouse (I use fairly high dpi).
I got it because sometimes if I've spent an entire day on the computer I get slight wrist aches and elevating my wrist via a pad seems to make that ache better (as the wrist is at far more of an angle without it).
But obviously I don't want to fuck myself.
For gaming (at a lower dpi) I wouldn't use it anyways, because then it'd be more likely to get in the way.

Depends on keyboard height. In his case it's a massive improvement to the wrist angle. You should alternate between floating typing and resting though. Also it's a must have for gaming. You're not going to be floating while wasding for hours.
>>106493930
It sounds like your wrist angle is bad. Most likely a seating position/desk height issue. If your wrist is bent up or down at all you're going to hurt your wrist fast. I don't know what your situation is exactly so I can't say for sure. all you need to know is that pressure on anything but the fatty palm area is bad. The whole inside of your forearm starting from the boney lower end of your wrist is basically a huge nerve tunnel and should be left alone. The junction between the hand and forearm being the most problematic.
Ergonomics are always a personal thing so if it works for you do continue. But if you actually have enough wrist pain for it to be bothering you then you must take serious action before it actually gets bad and you can't even clench you fists without having spasms or weakness. This shit goes bad exponentially. The more pain you have the more inflamed the area becomes which increases the rate of damage etc... You need to do specific exercises and strengthen your arms. You also need to be using the mouse as little as possible. You can start by trying to move to a keyboard focused workflow (it's faster and you should always try to do that anyways) and not using a mouse for non gaming related activities. Get a trackball or if you can't cope with that a vertical mouse. They're massively inferior though. I recommend the Protoarc EM03 it's real good and cheap.
>>106494073
The weight has nothing to do with the strain you get from using a regular mouse. When you lay your wrist to use a mouse you have to twist your forearm and it twists your bones together which squeezes the carpal tunnel. Usually not a big deal but over years of computer usage you'll fuck up your nerves. Vertical mice can help.

The rest of the bits on this 115 set actually look pretty well machined. It's just for some reason Chinese machinists can't align the hole properly. Maybe it doesn't matter that much like anon said so they don't bother to.
The new one on the right has survived a basic test of (un)screwing my multitool. The bit didn't melt like butter as I was afraid it might.

It's very much a combination of playing the games, stacking various different boni (coins, credits, coupons, sales, bundles) and a bit of luck. Trust me when I say that the 0$ items on ali and temu aren't worth it.
The goldilocks zone, if you want to actually enjoy /csg/, is in the middle, where you pay exceedingly little for the relatively high quality you get.
You don't want those 2$ TWS, because they'll have connection issues, bad battery life, and be a hassle to pair.
You don't want those 200$ TWS, because they'll never come close to justifying their price and you'll have to baby them so as to not lose or damage them.
But those 20$ TWS that offer you 95% of the experience of the exensive ones? Those are just right.
This logic applies to basically all items discussed here, and learning where that goldilocks zone lies for each category of item and being able to tell so from the listing is the skill that the more advanced csg-wizards have mastered.

Light is arguably the single most important thing to change the feeling of a room and make it comfy.
I've been aware of that concept, but recently I was at a place where someone did it really well and I really liked their living room, so I wondered why that was, and the answer was the lighting.
Each of the ones I'm getting:
- flexible arm lamp: I have a large desk and my monitor lightbar only lights up one half of it (where the pc is), this arm lamp should cover the other half.
LED strips:
- 1 for my bookshelf, to give it a nice glow and illuminate my books
- 1 for under my bed, nice when you gotta go to bed or pee late at night, also works as a nice background lighting
- 1 for behind my monitor as a backlight, which is just nicer to look at.
- 1 for illuminating my skadis organizer wall
- The sunset lamp is more of an experiment to see if I like it.

To be fair half the screens posted about that are probably fake or at least leave out important stuff.
That one screenshot of a german getting like 50€ in the piggybank for example, I get ~0.75-1.5€ a week in germany.

It hijacks one of your most primal instincts, the instinct to breed. It makes it destructive as well as hard to overcome.

I feel like so do basically all vices.
Food hijacks your instinct to seek nurishment.
Videogames hijack your instinct to seek entertainment.
Drugs hijack your instinct to seek joy.
No idea what makes the instinct to breed unique other than the social baggage it has mostly due to religious reasons.
Then again, in the end I agree it's bad, I just don't think it's uniquely bad.

Thanks but I don't have an issue with porn. I got lucky in that I never quite got into porn videos. Audio (rarely) or text is where it's at for me.

If you want to actually get a good value for your time:
- daily coin check-in
- lucky wheel
- daily check-in in the candycrush clone
- break the piggy bank once a day
anything beyond that is optional:
- watering game until daily quests are over
- daily gem quests
anything beyond that is deranged:
- doing dailies for each game
- writing a review for coins
- coin dailys

Kind of but not super much.
The piggy bank gives you a weekly payout, which you can't save up on and have to redeem on a sunday. Usually ~1$. So if you know you're not buying anything this week, you can safely skip it and then start the week you do want to buy something.
The gems are the best to stock up on, as you can exchange them to shopping credits, but they made supplies limited and during basically any sale they are gone within minutes. But if you do have enough, you can get pretty big bonuses.
For coins it depends, there's a generic 1-2% off to most items, but you barely need any coins for those, and you'll get more than you use just from buying stuff over time.
But if you go to your coins section (where you do the daily log-in too) there's a bunch of items below. In the top right of that section there's a orange "discount finder", which you can use for more substantial coin discounts. Note that the old trick of "60% off" and then it's actually 40% more expensive than the normal item is still very much alive, as are "95% off" that are listed as 0.15$ with 8$ shipping (which the discount doesn't apply for). So don't fall for the bait. Still in there you can find some pretty worthwhile discounts.
below that button there's one item slot with a bright yellow corner around it. Click that and it takes you to "coin super discounts". These have usually better discounts than the discount finder, but in exchange you can't search for what you want, they're like old bundles, where you have to get lucky to find something you can actually use or want.
Still it's a bit of an art to find a truly good coin discount, and imo, they are rare enough that the daily check-in is enough to get them.

If you don't dispute anything in the near future, it'll not matter. If it happened immediately you had great internal standing already.
Next time remember if you want to talk to the seller, do so via chat.
Disputes are just for actual disputes and usually mean aliexpress has to step in.
