Arch is for redditors. You should go back. If you really want hammer and sickle type devs, try FreeBSD. They even ban you for not liking communism.

>Ubuntu Dad Tier
Yeah, no. I will never understand why a distro that requires third party repositories run by volunteers for basic packages like media codecs and hardware drivers gets shilled so fucking hard. Do you honestly enjoy having to rebase every six months? Do you get off when Fedora adds a broken feature literally just to generate more bug reports for the RHEL team?

People get so dramatic about having to do a quick sudo purge snapd after a minimal install they forget that Ubuntu ships the only good version of Gnome, still offers hardware enablement patches other distros don't, and is the main target for developers when writing any application for Linux.

>Mint Bad Tier

so is racism, /g/ has no rules, only tyrannical mods. if you made apple "generals" like the fat and greasy stinkpad users on here, you got banned for spamming 10 years ago, you also get immediately banned for posting a dox on meaningful targets like the recaptcha inventors, but trying to dox lobsters users or mods? go ahead "lole"!

try for yourself and post a shitpost on a rarely visited board, it'll stay up for years. these people running /g/ are unironic meth/amphetamine abusers with stocks. if trolling manjaro makes them money, you can stay. if it doesn't you're going to have a shit time

why didnt you post a dog

What would you recommend instead of Fedora if I want relatively up-to-date packages, don't want a DIY distro like Arch and don't want a distro maintained by literalwhos like CachyOS?

Ubuntu is exactly what you need

mint isn't really a distro.
mint pays a license fee to use ubuntu's repos.

I find it funny that everyone always says Ubuntu is a bloated mess but it consistently performs better on benchmarks than light weight distros and gaming focused distros like nobara.

>CachyOS
You are always better off just installing the "optimized" packages off the AUR on normal Arch. CachyOS is going to load you down with a bunch of random rice and changes, which means that you are going to start encountering problems the second you move outside of the very narrow band of what it is designed for.
At least when you install the CachyOS optimizations one by one off the AUR you can accurately pinpoint what is causing you problems instead of needing to go help begging on a Discord or whatever the intended troubleshooting methodology for CachyOS is, because no one is going to write an installation guide specifically for this niche Arch variant.
>>106481226
CachyOS doesn't install a functional OS,
It's also a pacman distro, you can just yoink the packages and repos the same way you would on Artix.
>>106481264
I will save the time on not needing to troubleshoot some random bullshit.
