Bros, I need your help. QRD is I'm writing an isekai for the Kadokawa novel contest, and I generated picrel as a sort of stopgap novel cover that's sort of close to what I want. The problem is that the AI put an extra letter in "Congratulations". Try as I may, I can't find an easy way to pull the text from the image, edit it, then replace it in the same font it was written in. The only thing I found from limited google-fu was a paid service through Canva and I really, really do not want to spend any money on this.

I can remove the text using Recraft but my clinical retardation (being an isekai author) is causing me some major issues. Can one of you un-fuck this spelling error for me? I've spent about an hour messing around with this and I'm failing miserably.

The model you use is called a checkpoint. I believe its called that because its a checkpoint in the training process. Inpainting is essentially redoing a small area of the image by telling the AI to regenerate the area.

It's supposed to be just a standard isekai style light novel cover. High ranking American police detective gets isekai'd, gets an assigned redheaded elf handler who leads him around. That cover image is actually remarkably close to what I had in mind for the characters, with a pastoral bucolic farmland background. Elf girl has to have red hair, blue eyes, medium build, B or C cup titties, fancy robe, and cute. Cute elf is an absolute requirement. MC has to be out of shape, beer gut, balding, not good looking. I had to filter through lots of ridiculously attractive anime men doing that Komiko gen.

The biggest issues I have with the image is the equipment on his belt is typical sloppa. His badge ended up on his shirt instead of the belt where it should be. There should be a handcuff pouch, an empty radio holster, and of course his firearm on the right hip (which thankfully ended up in the right spot on that pic). A shoulder under-arm holster would also work well.

We could also have the pic be both of the characters facing away from the viewer overlooking the farmland.

There's two reasons:
1. Luddites gonna ludd. Mouthbreathing morons who don't understand what they hate.
2. The vast, vast majority of people who post anime-style AI art post lazy, low-quality images with dozens of familiarly AI-like errors. Almost nobody takes the time to inpaint these errors out. So, many people are rightfully angry at people spamming low-quality images.
I personally spend hours on each image, inpainting out every flaw I can find, down to the smallest details. But almost nobody else does this.

I was like this at first just throwing together tags I liked but at some point I became consciously aware that I kept using the same tags and now I sorta think of them as OCs

Does anyone here know of someone who does 3D modeling, does it very well, in a cute anime style, and does commissions?
I kind of want a model of my OC to train LORAs with and generate renders I can throw into Canny for the sake of gen consistency.
I really can't think of a better way (other than drawing kek) to achieve consistency with an OC, especially costume consistency.

I'm having some trouble getting him to have the middling receding hairline with a bald spot like I want. This might just be a limitation of model trained on anime datasets, there's scarcely any balding characters, they're either full on oji-san or a full head of healthy hair.

So, in the inpaint tab, I erased all my prompt, brushed the area I want to edit, inputted "partial receding hairline, light brown, thinning hair, hair loss,", but it either makes him completely bald or a full head of hair. It's tough but I can settle for the extreme baldness if it's impossible.

you could try the sketch tab, just select a color from the nearby skin and draw over the area you want bald. after that do a low denoise (0.15 or so) img2img on it so the sketched area blends in better

in the inpaint options use 'Fill'. That tries to fill in the area based on the surroundings and is good for getting rid of objects. Try not to use things like 'no X' because the model will just draw it unless its a specific tag it knows like no humans
