If WebP is a format that's browser and bandwidth-focused then my browser should auto-convert images to their underlying MIME type when it saves them.

How do you convert a lossy transparent photo originally saved as a WebP to JPEG without losing its transparency?

And lose even more quality to compression? No thank you, being served a webp even when I modify Accept headers to refuse it is already bad enough.
