>You use Linux because you want to feel special
Not OP but I use Linux because Wingblows 8 absolutely mindfucked me with how much of a piece of shit that was. If Win7 was still getting significant updates I'd probably still be using that.
But since I've gotten comfy with the penguin and since I despise Bill Gates I see no reason to leave now.

Say what you will about Troonix but I've had far more shit unexplainable break on my PC in Win8 than I ever had with Linux.

There was a bug in the kernel that was released back in late August that got fixed today. Cachy and other Arch spinoffs had it fixed except for the main three (Arch, Manjaro and Endeavour)

I started experiencing wifi issues a few days ago.. wasn't sure what was going on, but makes sense. I believe I updated before it started happening. I don't experience it at work since I'm on ethernet.

Hopefully by Monday there's more updates to fix it

There was literally a bug that OP and I suffered from that has been patched today. Now, you could argue I'm bad at Linux for using EndeavourOS, but I still reserve the right to blame it on the distro, since the distro had to issue the patch.

I had /g/entoo 15 years ago and foolishly set up everything to my liking but didn't make any backups. I believe I updated X11 and something else and this started never-ending compile loop. Thought I'd just fix it because I'm not a regular user. After three days I wiped it and reinstalled Vista or whatever the current Windows was back then.
Haven't used Linux at home since. At work every day but I don't need to think about that.
Fuck Linux, if there was a real supported Irix alternative I'd use it. Most likely not.

Dude, I love Linux. Been using it for a couple decades now. Not everything is a conspiracy theory and sometimes there are bugs. To completely refuse Linux has never and will never have bugs is fucking insane.
